"Humans came to PK-L7 in search of high powered fuel. They found it with Xenium, a dark, oily compound deep below the planet’s surface. But they found something else too. The Xenos attack was brutal and unrelenting, and they’re still coming. On April 10 at 3pm EST, Zombicide: Invader is coming to Kickstarter. Follow the CMON and Guillotine Games Facebook pages for regular updates on the Survivors, Xenos, Equipment, and Environments of this interstellar battle for life, and look for our interview with the Zombicide: Invader design team later this week. Grab a weapon, barricade the doors, and prepare to be invaded."

Zombicide:Invader is a cooperative game where 1 to 6 players face Xenos, an unfathomable swarm of infected Xenos controlled by the game itself. Each player takes on the role of 1 to 6 Survivors in a sci-fi setting being overwhelmed by these Xenos. The goal is simple: choose a Mission, complete its objectives, kill as many Xenos as possible, and (most importantly) survive!

Survivors will fight Xenos, rescue each other, recover vital data, unveil dark secrets, and much more! Survivors can be Civilians or Soldiers, each with specialized Skills. They all play together as a team, trading Equipment, and covering each other. They use whatever weapons they can get to kill Xenos and slow the invasion. The better the weapon, the higher the body count, but the more Xenos will appear, attracted by the onslaught! Survivors must also be mindful of their location as conventional weapons work fine indoors, but the planet’s oxygen-starved surface, they’ll need to arm themselves with more specialized weaponry… Lasers, anyone?

Most of the time, Xenos are predictable, but there are a lot of them and they use nasty tactics not encountered in previous Zombicidegames. Only through cooperation can players achieve the Mission objectives and win."

I haven't backed a CMoN kickstarter in a awhile, but I think this one might tempt me depending on what the minis and gameplay are like.

I mean, I really don't want to get any more Zombicide, as the closet is filling up and Green Horde went directly to the shelf...but I have a feeling we'll be looking at some amazing heroes in this one. I was just thinking when GH arrived "I hope they don't go scifi next time, so I can walk away happy"

Dernit. Now I need to have a think on it.

Updated the first post with a bit more info.

I stopped collecting Zombicide games after the original Zombicide, Prison Outbreak, and Toxic City Mall, so I kinda feel that I'm about due for another round.

Plus I've long been looking for a good scifi crawler.

I've Mantics Star Saga game but I'm thinking this will be quite a different experience.

Sigh, I'll have to watch this one as well.  I was thinking of a mock zcide game with bones Grey's and Bathalian's.  But this might prove a bit more thought out than mine.

While I do think that zombicide is a bit overdone, with enough nice miniatures, I would be onboard. The zombicide games are pretty fun for casual gaming with some family or friends, though.

I'll probably be in on this one, unless I can convince a friend to get it instead.  I think he should.

I like your thinking defiantly the way to go ::D: will be looking at it myself depending on the price it might be back especially as it will be April

As someone who only backed the first two Zombicide kickstarters, I'm not sick to death of them yet.

I was hoping for another fantasy Zombicide with vampires... and maybe werewolves, like Underworld.

Space could be cool. We are starting a Starfinder game soon, and do have our Starwars game in rotation, but the teasers of the art aren't really doing it for me. I do think in general the sculpts are usually better than the art anyway so I will see what they show when this goes live.

As others have said, the alien monster things don't really fit with the Zombie theme, but just like Green Horde, I am probably only interested in the heroes anyway.

I got the early bird 4 bust deal.  FWIW I have some of their earlier figures and they've been very good quality.

Someone in a podcast I listen to (an actual play d&d weekly affair, if I remember correctly) has this rpg based on 80s video nasties. It sounds intriguing and fun.

They don't seem to have anything on Kickstarter yet, their Facebook site says they launch on October 1st. It'll be one all-in pledge for the 10 starter minis & everything afterward will be an included freebie. Looks like some cool sculpts; I'll be interested as to what the pledge will be.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/chibi-siblings-of-conflict-miniatures?ref=friends_launched

      About
The siblings  of conflict are here!
Attack! this interstellar army of hardboiled girls are ready to conquer your tabletop! Assemble unique squads with powerful weapons, led by brave leaders. They're cute, they're rowdy, they are the siblings of conflict!
      STRETCH GOALS
We're planning amazing, unique hero characters, and more! Surprises await! New Stretch Goals will appear as the campaign advances!
      Chibi miniatures!
Chibis are adorable characters that have lately have made a splash in the boardgaming and miniature community with games such as Super Dungeon Explore, Arcadia Quest, Ninja All-Stars and many others. They're also featured in collectible figurines and in other geeky paraphernalia.
This is the NINTH Chibi KickStarter run by Impact! Miniatures and Impact! is partnering with  Märchen to bring you some incredible, new Siblings of Conflict chibi miniatures along with sci-fi allies & enemies for them to combat!
The funding goal will pay for the sculpting & 3-D printing of the miniatures.
       The Miniatures
ALL miniatures in this KickStarter are provided unpainted. Unless otherwise stated after the name of the miniature, all miniatures offered with this KickStarter will be high quality 3-D prints done on a top end 25 to 50 micron printer (you should not see print lines after priming and paint).   As stretch goals are reached we will unlock additional sculpts.  The miniatures will require light clean up, being primed before painted and might need some assembly (although we will do our best to keep the figures with as few pieces as possible).
You can use your reward dollars to get any of the miniatures in the listing above.
      Miniature Quality
While many of the miniatures in this KickStarter will be 3-D printed, the quality will be a very high level since they are 25 to 50 micron 3-D SLA prints which are very different than ABS prints.   Below is an extreme close -up example of a printed figure and how it shows no print lines when primed and painted (with no other prep work).    Many thanks to Yeji Kim for her painting of Vanguard Leader Anna (top row) and Jason Turner for the painting of Vanguard Leader Anna and Vanguard Trooper #3 (bottom row)!
      Shipping
Shipping will be charged in the pledge manager after the project.  At this time we are estimating $5 for US backers, $13 for Canada and $17 for Rest of World. Shipping of the KickStarter will be EU Friendly and should not incur any customs fees.
