Just got my shipping notification that it will be at my house by Friday.  Of course I’m 1500km away...

have a friend on standby to go save my stuff though.  Sunday will be spend doing laundry and unpacking lots of space zombies. :zombie:

I didn’t back this directly but I did piggyback on my cousins pledge for a couple of mini expansions.

It would be great if he received his pledge this week or next as I’m currently visiting him and would love to drive home to Vancouver with new minis.

US still hasn't even started shipping. But according to twitter, QMlogistics are the ones doing the US fulfillment. So I'm trying to see if I can get them to update my address. Since MARCH was too close to the ship date for CMON to do it...

Edit: I have nothing but good things to say about quartermaster's shipping department! In the time it took me to write this they fixed what CMON took months not to do!

oh and also it's already in stores...

Could be worse...I backed a late pledge.....then somehow missed the email to lock in my rewards, so am out 150 bucks....too many Kickstarters.

Edit: Good news is that after talking to CMON they let me upgrade for an all in Late Pledge Option (something they put together for such a scenario after it is too late to pick and choose options). So for another $187 I am getting everything from the KS, but will likely be in the last shipment. So about $90 more than I was originally expecting to spend, but at least I am not out the original pledge value.

You won't be disappointed, the minis are awesome I can't believe the detail they hold, the factory has mastered making this stuff. I barely even see mold lines on mine. I am not a fan of the space marine bulky plate armor but they pulled it off really well. So much great homage too! (RIP Rutger Hauer)

Agreed.  Their minis are definitely getting better.  The quality is really there and the detachable base for the couple arachnid-looking abominations is a very good idea.  I had a couple that weren't assembled as well as they could have been, but overall, I'm impressed with them as board game minis.

I like the look of the aliens in the dark side expansion a lot more than main game.

Same ditto. During the KS, I gave it a shot and asked if they'd have a pledge with the DS standalone rather than the base game, but they said no, so I didn't pledge.

DS would have been nice, but $200 is nicer.

I got my dispatch notification yesterday, three days after the parcel arrived - the UK post office has finally cracked time travel ::P:

The figures are very nice, although on the tall side. The civilians should be usable in a lot of other settings, which was the main reason I backed the KS.

I'm not so crazy on the power armoured folk. They're nice models, just not a design that does much for me. I'm not sure what colour scheme I'll go for, but they won't be painted white, as my previous efforts with that colour have not ended well
