I have most every version of Zombicide, but I am really meh about this.....I wonder if I could just get the rules and proxy all those Sedition Wars minis I have into it.....

Oh yeah. I went in for two boxes of Sedition Wars during that kickstarter. Might as well do something with those minis.

Or I could proxy the Star Saga minis, or some of those I have from Countetblast, or even Reapers scifi soldiers minis.

Or just wait for Bob Naismiths scifi soldiers coming out later this year.

They gave her a bevelled base edge, I assume to look even more like 40k. All the other zcide have thinner, straight-edged bases. The Others: 7 Sins minis (which the aliens in the cover image reminds me the most of), have the thicker bases, but still straight edges.)

Interesting to see if this gw-base style makes it to production or not.

I have everything but the original exclusives from the first KS and talked a friend into buying Black Plague and Green Horde (which we're still waiting for...) but so far, this one isn't tickling my fancy.  The figs are too reminiscent of Space Marines, which I have more than enough of already and, just like Hollywood, they're not wearing their helmets, which is just dumb...  I know it's hard to differentiate the various people in heavy armor otherwise, but leaving the head exposed when wearing 1" thick armor, hurts my head.

As so many other boardgames cap out at 4-5 players, having something for 6 or that will easily scale to 7 on those rare nights when all my buddies are available, means that the 2 Zcide games hit the table pretty often.  Will have to see if the gameplay is any different or if the monster minis catch my eye, but right now, I'm not about to jump in.

That sci-fi trooper looks really weak. I dont like either the pose or the design of it. They should have previewed something more appealing to create more of a hype. Not writing it off completely, though.

Agreed. I don't like .that sculpt at any level. Clearly a cash grab for the 40k crowd, without any of the style and character that usually makes their stuff good. I'm actually good with that, I could use the money to buy a painting or something :D

I dunno.

Not sure how I feel about Cthulhu headed space aliens.

MONSTER RUBBER SUIT DISCO INFERNO!!!

Eh, if you like the miniatures (and this includes the celebrity knock-offs), might as well back this one as your Zombicide game. Otherwise, Green Horde is the better set. For modern day, it's Rue Morgue.
