Looks interesting for the terrain, if not the miniatures. Two armies package includes two 20"x20" fortresses for less than $100.
There are a couple of things that give me pause, though. First time creator, and claims to be in Chicago but English is clearly not his first language. May not mean anything but makes me wonder.
"After over three years in the making, we are proud to present you the Eternal Eight - a WORLD'S FIRST 3D mini war game with innovative real 3D RELIEF.
The goal of the game is to capture the enemy’s King. The advantages of Eternal Eight are the 3D castles, fortresses and villages with a myriad of traps, labyrinths and secret passages. All of the army bases (castles, villages, fortresses) are easy to assemble and move around.
The game can be easily incorporated into your existing game table setup or provide a great addon to some of your existing mini war games."
My husband and I run the Paint and Take table at a local convention, Recruits. It's held at the high school, admission is free for all area students, games are child friendly, etc. We get really good turnout. The paint table is free for kids of all ages, even grownup kids, and it is funded entirely with donations. All of the figures, all of the paint, water cups, brushes, etc come from the wonderful community we have here, from the internet, and from vendors. It's typical for me to arrive early Saturday to set up and find one or more anonymous boxes of figures or paint waiting. A couple of years ago at Reapercon folks helped fill a box with mouslings for me to give away. I could not do this without the support I get from the painting and gaming community.
So here is this year's class:
(BTW, if you got stuff in your Bones4 core that you do not want, find me at next year's Reapercon, I will see it goes to a good cause)
This is our table about ten minutes after setting up. Busy the entire day.
Some of the fine works of art created by the kids who participated. They look forward to this all year.
Got to pick up more baby dragons next year. I only had the one and it resulted in crying. :(

For the last three years, I've gotten to attend Origins in Ohio, and have really loved doing the Reaper Speedpaint (and even won last year). I was hoping to go and participate in the Speedpaint again this year, but I was going through the Origins 2019 event schedule and didn't see a single entry from Reaper. Is Reaper not going to be at Origins this year, or at least not hosting any events?

My crew of five drew an earliest hotel registration time of 2:00 this afternoon, which wasn't enough to score a room in a connected hotel. It looks like we'll be out by the airport again this year, so that will place a premium on traveling light, and shopping responsibly.
Next task, decide whether we're driving, and how to configure two different miniature war-games for air travel. Perhaps this is the year when Fat Dragon fold-flat buildings will cover the table...
Dream Pod 9's latest Jovian Wars Tabletop Wargame Kickstarter is live. This time we are making new spaceship, exo-armor, and fighter/bomber squad miniatures for the game's Venus faction. The Kickstarter runs to Sunday evening, December 2nd, 2018 at 8 pm EST.
Our initial funding goal is $4,000 CAD, needed to cover the mold costs for the high quality multi-part resin spaceships and give our Backers some great reward packages has already been reached. Now we are working on Stretch Goals to add more weapons and other parts to the various ships. If you love spaceship miniatures please checkout the 8 new spaceships (1/4000 scale) and 9 exo/fighter/bomber squads (1/1000 scale) in the image below.
Plus here is an image of the Strap Carrier with different views of the 3d model, exploded parts view, and photos of the actual resin miniature on 3" x 3" acrylic base. The Venus faction don't flaunt their power in the solar system and camouflage their warships as civilian freighters. Hence we have included extra cover plates for weapons and closed hanger sections to make the civilian versions or if you want you can pin the parts and hot swap as desired.
You can check it all out at the Kickstarter link below and help us by pledging for one of our great reward levels.
