Popular Post paintybeard
A figure I really like, and Reaper doesn't do many of these sort of semi-historical figures. The example I received had the blade of the rapier almost tied in a knot. No chance of properly straightening that, so I cut it off and replaced it with a carefully blunted pin. I like to think that this makes the whole thing look in better proportion, but she can be a menace to pick it up! malefactus
She is a LOVELY, swashbuckling creation. Your brushwork & color selection are OUTSTANDING. The new sword & the touch of flora on the base are nice touches. VERY WELL DONE! 4 hours ago, paintybeard said: ...I like to think that this makes the whole thing look in better proportion, but she can be a menace to pick it up! When I was an historical gamer replacing the defective swords with pins was The Thing to do. Tom, one of our more rotund Marshals, once leaned over the table & his troops. With a look of horror, he straightened up. There were several bases of Cuirassiers stuck to his belly. War games can be dangerous at time.
