This popped up on my youtube feed and I thought it was pretty cool and could be very useful for what we do.  I might make one eventually for my other work table (since I built a light arch for my paint table).

I didn't even know these LED light panels existed.

Can you tell how you built the light arch, though?

I'd like to see how that works, 

 

and do you think it gives you better lighting than the LED panel?

 

I've got three swing arm lamps right now...

(1 regular bulb, 1 daylight bulb, and 1 Ott light)

and still feel like I'm in shadows

Mine is still held together with zip ties, some day I'll get around to tidying it up.

the arch gives really good overall lighting.  I still use a couple of other lights as well (one is also my magnifier) to get the light just how I like it.

 

I'm not sure which would give better light, but since the arch is already here I'm not in a hurry to build something new (or spend money on something new is likely more accurate).

I do like the idea of the light panels though.
