I backed their first KS ... it was a mixed bag. The price for what I got was very good and what I got was at least ok, some parts were good. But people reported a number of problems (lots of bubbles in the resin, lots of things to clean up because resin spilled out of the mold etc). But I'm willing to back them again, because this looks very nice.

My first thoughts?  I wonder how I could mod that to be taken over by gnolls... Or I suppose orks could steal it too.

Interestingly, in the comments section they've claimed that any stretch goals not unlocked will be available for purchase afterwards separately.

Kind of sounds like they don't need our money.

Or, to be imaginative and give them the benefit of the doubt, they can afford to make all these pieces anyway and the stretch goals are just to include them in everybody's pledge as freebies. if we want the non freebie stuff (like the work bench at the back of the boat) then we'll have to pay for them.

It does make the initial pledge images rather misleading 'though. I'm considering dropping my pledge based on the confusion & the attitude they've expressed in response to criticism. They don't seem to handle criticism well but it's still a good model and I'm very tempted to remain in for it.

I'm going to pass on this one myself.

I was unthrilled both with quality of the last one and their packing job (sacks of resin, loose in a box do not travel well. It's a miracle I only had a couple of pieces arrive damaged).

Heard about the packaging from a number of people ... guess I was lucky, only had one broken part and that was easily glued. In view of the price I paid (especially for that temple ruin), I was quite satisfied. But yeah, I'm not really happy about the way they are handling things (stretch goals included).

Woah. I've backed out now after hearing about the packaging. I'd heard a fair bit about people not receiving rewards from previous campaigns or even people who'd placed orders with them. Orders going missing in the post and then refusing to send out replacements but now, if stuff's going to get broken up because they won't pack it properly then that's too much of a risk for me.

      About
RM Printable Terrain is proud to present Stormguard Undone, the next chapter in our Stormguard Story for terrain STL's.
Through decades of war and conflict, the world was divided into 3 lands. Quivira the city of light, the one beacon of hope in the world, the perfect city. Biringan the land of Darkness, necromancers leaning towards the dark arts to gain their power, and Uffmoor woods. Uffmoor woods was where people fleeing the great war went to go into hiding, Where druids looked to healing the world and being one with Nature.
Now is your time, a lull in the conflict after the destruction of Stormguard, you need to venture beyond the walls of a city, as it offers you little safety now… Explore a world torn asunder by a thirst for power, a hubris that was unmatched.
Stormguard Undone: is a support-free 28mm scenery collection,(of printable files for a 3D printer) designed for wargames, role playing games, and skirmish games that will feature many different pieces of scatter terrain for gaming. Each of the pledge levels will be delivered as STL files for you to print on your home 3D Printer. All of the files were designed to fit 3D printers with a bed size of 220mm x 220mm bed and print without supports! All of pieces of terrain were sculpted by the very talented Iain Lovecraft. All pieces of terrain were designed to work with a tabletop gaming scale of 28mm-32mm.
PLEDGE THE SCRIBE: The scribe includes no rewards, it's just a way to follow along with the progress of the campaign, and support our project. If you choose the Scribe, thank you for contributing!
PLEDGE QUIVIRA BATTLE MAGE: The battle mage will include any core files, and any unlocked stretch goals with the key word QUIVIRA. This set is for creating the city of light. Pledge will be delivered as STL Files.
PLEDGE BIRINGAN DARK NECROMANCER: The necromancer pledge level will include any core files, and any unlocked stretch goals with the key word BIRINGAN. This set is for creating the land of darkness, truly dark feeling terrain to add to any battlefield. Pledge will be delivered as STL Files.
PLEDGE UFFMOOR DRUID: The druid pledge level will include any core files, and any unlocked files with the key word UFFMOOR. This set is for creating more natural terrain for your table, and structures that are built into nature, instead of destroying it. Pledge will be delivered as STL Files.
PLEDGE UNDONE ARCHMAGE: A master of the magical arts, this pledge level will include all core files, and all unlocked files. This set is for anyone looking to create multiple themed battlegrounds through 3D printing.
But what if I don't have a 3D printer? RM Printable Terrain will be offering printed terrain after the close of the kickstarter, stay tuned for more details.
Special Thanks: A very special thanks to Iain Lovecraft for all his hard work on designing a ton of great Support Free STL files for printing next level gaming terrain.
      Risks and challenges
      DIGITAL MEDIA:
All of the files will be broken down into smaller files, so that you can choose how you want to print them, but it's up to you to get the most out of your 3D printer for the files. All of the files are going to be supplied in STL format.
If you would like to edit the files, and alter the files you are welcome to, but you are not welcome to share/re-sell these files without permission from me (so please just ask first). I also can't guarantee that modified files will continue to work properly.
The Images shown on the campaign page are just for visualization and although they may come very close, they may not be an exact representation of the final design or printed model. Make sure you look at the printed pictures of the terrain.
I am going to reserve the right to alter any of the models shown, at any time, before delivery, with the intent of improving the design, or efficiency of production.
There are no risks in the delivery of the files, after funds clear you will be sent a code that will reduce any items in your pledge level to zero in our online store. Stretch goals will be started after the kickstarter ends, and be delivered as quickly as possible.
So please join us on this quest and support us so that we can continue to bring stunning terrain to your tabletop.

Seems to be a good time for 3D printers (and a bad one for wallets).
