April 19:  Describe your day in haiku form.

Traditional haiku are always the same, including the following features:

  1. There are only three lines, totaling 17 syllables.
  2. The first line is 5 syllables.
  3. The second line is 7 syllables.
  4. The third line is 5 syllables like the first.
  5. Punctuation and capitalization are up to the poet, and need not follow rigid rules used in structuring sentences.
  6. A haiku does not have to rhyme, in fact usually it does not rhyme at all.
  7. Some haiku can include the repetition of words or sounds

  1.

Daughter is home sick

while sister, dad, play outside

in sping's brief window.

What is a haiku?

Wait - just saw the hidden text.

Oh - I see.  Okay.

Writer, I am not.

Poetry, my weakness be.

Yoda, I could be.

I try regardless.

This question makes me suffer.

You shall suffer too.

Here is my haiku.

I seek appreciation.

Question, April 18: What is your most regretted/disappointing  Hobby Purchase? (Could be: equipment, paint, software, supplies, models...)

I suppose the Olde World KS given the creators just up and vanished.  It wasn't a lot of money, but I could have at least gotten something had I spent it elsewhere.  I was moving towards regretting my Bones purchases as I picked them up for gaming. I was then no longer gaming and they were just gathering dust.  Now that I'm back to gaming though they may yet prove useful.

Weekend Questions, April 20-21-22: What has happened to you recently that has pushed a life goal farther away (big or small) or just some little thing (setback) that unimproved your SitRep?

Bonus question: how are you gonna fix it?

Well, finding out that I'm about to about unemployed a little while back qualifies, I think.

Bonus:

While doing the proper pirate thing, which would be to loot, pillage, and then burn down the business would be rather satisfying, I think I'll just continue to keep my fingers crossed that one of these interviews I've done produces a job offer.

Had some medical stuff going on, but it is all taken care off now.

Minor setback, car airco doesn't work constantly.

Appointment has been made to fix it.

They better get it right since I had this last year as well.

I'll go with "finances got tighter" as it has prevented me from putting regular orders I neither Reaper, but that's how things can be sometimes.

It has, however, let me work on my backlog of minis, so I can't complain about that ^_^

I got another day older without putting a significant dent in my Vault of Pack Rattiness AND no one has accepted my offer of free miniatures.

Beats me how I will fix it.

What is (insert a string of expletives here) SitRep supposed to mean? I looked it up on Wikipedia & it redirected me to command post. When I was in the service they still spoke English.

Using military jargon or pop slang may seem cool, but it generates a feeling of exclusion if you are unfamiliar with the term(s).

Free minis?  I had not heard of such a thing.

*feeling of grabby hands intensifies*

I haven't been painting much lately.  I've got projects that I want to do just not so much motivation.  Possible improvement was that my DM has told me that he will need Mal'Drakar (as Tiamat) for the table in June/July.  So now that I have a deadline, perhaps I shall be more motivated.

Looks at House symbol....
