Not bad, but I think I'd have given them a Passover.

I am indifferent, though I have an academic sense that it's beneficial.   What I really want is to have shakers FOR my paint bottles. As in, some sort of goblins in a cage that will continua

it would not be a normal paint.   Glitter Medium!   Turning any colour into a glitter variant.

If you were in charge of your very own Planet...

Question, April 5: Would you rather be Pope, Emperor, Dictator for Life or High King??

Yes.::D:

More seriously, I think you're way overestimating the number and types of people that would be on my planet.

My very own planet? I'm gonna go with "Overseer" as I'll watch over the planet from the space station in orbit, which is also where the non natives will live. A few spots on the surface will be available for visits, but not permanent habitation.

Good gravy, what a question!  I would choose none of them as I am so unsuited that I know I would be absolutely miserable in the post.  Likely, the very first thing that I would do is abdicate and go disappear somewhere!

If I absolutely, positively had to choose one (and couldn't abdicate) - I would go with Dictator for Life.  That "for Life" part seems to indicate that someone would off me pretty quickly and at the very least, put me out of my misery!

On second thought...

High Lord of Bacon has a nice ring to it.

So that's it now, you're the king of Bob...

I'm... Never calling it that...

(text scrolls across screen reading "New Earth, aka Planet Bob")

If I were totally in charge? And I could terraform the place? I'd prefer to be called The Magrathean.

I'd happily spend time building the equatorial regions, but I've got someone specific in mind for the northern fjords.

Slarti Bardfast for the fiddly bits!

But will you call yourself Benji or Frankie?

Weekend Question, April

6-7-8: What have you done lately to improve your SitRep?

(SitRep :: Situation Report) This could be advancing toward a life goal,  working on a health issue, learning a new recipe ...however BIG or small... just something that made things better.

Quit smoking (again).  Started to lose weight (again).  Finally got around to making the front yard looking decent.

Got a day job last year. It nearly doubled our household income. I don't care if it's night shift, I'm still a writer so it's a day job ::P:

Considering moving to a larger apartment. Considering the upgrade from a tiny studio (nowhere to store minis) to a tiny one-bedroom (nowhere to store minis but at least we're not gaming on the bed)

Decided against upgrading to a two-bedroom, even if we can afford it now and even if mini storage demands it. At least not until certain older family members die and take with them their fantasies of moving in with us.

In the last 3-4 months I've lost about 20 lbs, repainted a few rooms in my house, and bought a new truck.

I've kept a reasonably tidy area for my new painting and hobbying space.  I say reasonably tidy, because... Yeah, it's a tad messy now but that's life.

Definitely weren't kidding when those who said it said that my area would go from tidy to controlled chaos.  On the flipside though, I can leave it somewhat unkempt while I'm working on four different projects at once, so I definitely can't complain there!

Edit: Oh, and my benching area is tidied up as well, which is good...  Plus I'm slowly working on getting my gaming and audio areas all tidied up too...

I've lost a noticeable amount of weight in the last six or seven months and built up my strength (I don't keep track of how much but my doctor is really happy). I'm working on those comics.

The rules: as they were last month (in addition to all regular forum rules) except where I sneakily changed them:

      1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question. †
1.5. Should I be unable to post a question for the day, a crack team of deputy quisitors, former quisitors, and random forum members are all chomping at the bit to step in and post one... ††
      2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
      3. Questions are going to be posted sometime before 1 AM Reaper time (US Central).
      4. Everyone is encouraged to suggest future questions to be posted via PM to Talespinner or Morihalda…
      5. You do not have to answer every question to play...
      6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question.. ..or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why can be fun...unless TMI).
      7. Weekend questions may take the form of two or three day quests, starting on Friday or Saturday.
      8. Pix always welcome.

The first question will need to be posted after a brief (10 minute) pause to foil the merging of posts.
The footnotes, because I can't resist doing †††footnotes:

      † I will aim for 0600 Reaper/Nottingham time.
††  If subs and backstops could wait until 11AM in Reaper/Denton's timezone to see if I remember.
      ††† …because I re-remembered how to do the dagger ( † ) symbol.
