Another Danged Vampire: 50157: Townsfolk, Lady of the Night

This is one of the three figures from sculptor Gene Van Horne's set 50157: Townsfolk: Ladies of the Night (or as I prefer to think of them, Women of the Regrettable Fashion Choices). I painted her up as a vampire in an attempt to show the dusky skin of the undead PoC, but I'm not sure I quite managed it.

 

Anyhow, I really enjoyed using all sorts of unlikely colors that ought to scream "Beware!" to anyone paying attention.

 

There is no WIP thread for this figure, but as always comments, critiques, and questions are welcome.

Regrettable fashion choices indeed. I love the look of the fur jacket. I remember when those were in style.

Very nice work. She does scream beware, and in more than one way (i'll suck your blood, spice up your drink and rob you blind). Would be a nice NPC for a WoD game.

I can imagine a male customer trying to get a certain thing...only to find out it means something totally different to her.

It means “Work-In-Progress”, a step-by-step of how I got here.  (I take pictures as I go along, but I don’t always make a WIP thread for every figure.)

 

Don’t worry about asking questions. There’re always unexpected terms in hobbies, I’ve found. And this forum tends to the friendly and explanatory.

 

I am presently involved in a WoD game, although a particularly unorthodox one which has folded in “Exalted” as the returning prehistory. Behind the spoiler is my character in that game:
