Should have taken it seriously. She meant it this time.

She finally meant it.

My sympathies.

Don't blame yourself, if she played this for six years people were bound to drop their guard at some point.

Still sad, I wish you strength.

Okay sun you win.

Messed up a mini yesterday rushing to get it finished before I got too hot under my desk lamp (didn't work, I got too hot anyways and felt terrible for the rest of the day), so I'm taking the hint and packing up my painting desk for the summer.

Now to find something else to do.

Uhhh this would have better formatting but my arrow keys and enter key just stopped working. Okay. My goals this year were to get some savings for medical emergencies (nope), pay to learn about current physical issues (nope), learn more art (nope), and move to our own place again (Yes! TOMORROW, bless the Pale Tree). Instead I've fallen into a long, ridiculous spiral and had to change my goal to just surviving. So that's what I'm doing now. We have just enough savings for me to see a therapist for a couple months. We almost didn't do ReaperCon this year but zero friend time would break my brain. I miss you all! So we used a credit card.  So far I've learned about things like PTSD, dissociation, being nice to myself, and working to solve problem situations proactively instead of reactively.... I've been getting really frustrated that I wasn't on track for anything, but I've been trying to convince myself that I'd rather lose one year of art instead of all the years. So. 2018 is currently year of the brain! I try not to talk about my personal issues, but I do let it out sometimes, partly for me to just breathe for a moment, and partly so that others fighting mental and physical issues know they aren't alone.

You're not alone, either. we're all happy to try to help in way we can. ::):

It's also sorta like a mini-Friday, since tomorrow is a holiday.

Tomorrow is a mini-Friday for me too. I've taken the day off to recover from overtime on half of the days of the last fortnight (including tonight)...

A First World Problem To Ponder

I found the keys to a Mercedes yesterday.

(I don’t own a Mercedes.)

(I don’t know anyone that owns a Mercedes.)

(It is surprisingly hard to return a set of keys to an unknown owner.)

Seriously, is there a correct way to go about it? My usual method for figuring out problems like this is: Ask Someone Who Knows.  But yesterday I ran into a succession of know-nothings and knuckleheads.

If it's an electronic key you can return it to the manufacturer. If it's not... melt it down and make a mini?

It worked for me! And then when the temperature drops, you're ready to go!
