So much of how she treated me my whole life made sense after that... Thank you all for your sympathies. I'm taking today off of work. Don't know if I'm going to spend it sobbing pitifully into various beers or singing off-key renditions of 'Ding Dong The Witch is Dead'. Maybe both. At the same time. Critical Role is on Thursday... that makes it equal to a Friday... and if you ever worked retail or a restaurant, it's better than Friday because you don't have to go in on Saturday. Or something like that. Thursday is it's own thing, which is pretty awesome... except this Thursday, because they are moving sets and it is a regular Thursday. Okay, so this particular week? SparrowMarie Posted July 3, 2018 Share Posted July 3, 2018 (edited) Monday is over and now to Tuesday. Might finish cleaning up the second section of painting corner sometime today. Lots of rearranging to do before it can be called good. Not looking forward to tomorrow. Fireworks and my PTSD are not friends. Also, it upsets my cat which upsets me in general. But we're going to the in-laws to pick up some stuff and possibly have lunch with them. ETA: Can't wait for payday. Might order me a pack of paint pucks. They are silicone discs that suction to the inside of your paint water cup. It's got nubs and grooves that you run your brush over/through and it's supposed to keep the brush cleaner than just rinsing and running the brush over the bottom or sides without anything on them. I know there are other similar things o out there but these look fun and not super harsh on the brushes. Also, I like to support smaller companies so I'll let y'all know how well they work when I get some. But it isn't a case of time flowing backwards but of the creation of shortened fifth work week. The phenomenon is only occurring in the United States and territorial possessions. This has led to me having to apply for another forbearance on my student loans. I got an email this morning from the loan company saying I have overdue payments, which I knew would happen eventually but didn't expect it until at least next month. Thankfully, it's only $50 overdue and I can pay that off this weekend. Hoping to hear back about the application ASAP. I've applied for a couple before shortly after I finished school. I am currently disabled and can't work so my mom has been paying the loan (which she said she'd do to begin with) but I'm starting to feel bad that I can't contribute. Especially since Sibling is now going to university and accruing a heck of a lot more than I did. Maybe by quadruple my totals by the time they are done. I've applied for disability in the past. I may have to apply again soon. I was denied the first time because I "did not have enough working hours." Well, yeah, I was never even able to work after I graduated so of course I have no paid working hours. And all the working I did in school did not count because I wasn't being paid, it counts as an internship. I'll probably have to get a lawyer to get it approved. First though I need to get a new copy of my medical records. Yay!
