Tea with Fried Beer for biscuits.

And yes, there is such a thing as Fried Beer.

In Texas.

Using Guinness.

San Diego county fair had waffle sticks wrapped in bacon, soaked in jack daniels, breaded and friend.

I don't have stuff to do frying anyway, nor the right type of beer. It is a passionfruit ale in there right now. As long as I'm not sharing with Sir Cyr I can snag the fruity ones!

While perusing an Atlas Obscura article on the worlds largest wet plate camera one of the additional articles that came up was for "Fried Beer"

Somebody figured out how to put Guinness in a shell that looks like a ravioli and then fry it up.

I am not happy. My Internet connection is all spotty tonight, and it's making it hard for me to play tankshoots. I want to shoot other tanks with my tanks! I just got the T-34, and I need to upgrade it!

FIX YOUR CRAP, SPECTRUM!

Beer, ice cream, and butter. Anything else on the "why/how is this fried?!" list?

I kind of want to try fried beer...

Could be worse, could be Frontier, who bought Verizon in our area and only took about 6 hours after the transfer of services to start having serious problems with outages.

It's been over two years now and they still are having serious problems.

Oh, no, I'm familiar with Frontier. They bought out Verizon here back in 2010, right after I bought my house. There was a big broccoli storm about how the state let Verizon sell out to them, because Verizon had spent the last 5 years doing literally no repairs outside of the absolutely necessary ones. Frontier tried to fix it, but never could, then they got a whole bunch of grant money that they tried to steal by counting undeployed rolls of fiber that was connected to the network but still on the spool in a basement somewhere as "installed." The DOJ opened an investigation into them for that.

I was paying $65/mo for 3mbps service and I was getting the equivalent of 56k dialup service about 50% of the time, and apparently I wasn't alone because the WV government sued them over it in 2015/16. They settled out of court, which got the bill dropped to $10/mo for the next 2 years or until service was meeting advertised levels, whichever took longer. But once that went into effect, the service level degraded even further, to where it was almost impossible to surf the web even at 3am on a weekday.

It just so happened that Time Warner Cable finally let me sign up with them at that time. I'd been trying for years, and I knew that they served my area because this house had had Time Warner previously, but their website wouldn't let me sign up online and every time I called I got put on hold for over an hour and would give up. But when all the Frontier stuff went down they fixed their website to let me sign up online. Now I'm paying $65/mo and getting an actual 75mpbs service.

I'm actually generally happy with it. The bill just recently went up from $55/mo to $65, but it also came with a service upgrade of more than double(it used to be 25mbps), so, you know, I'm not too upset. It's just that tonight it has been going in and out for a few hours.

So yea, I've dealt with Frontier. And Comcast. And Adelphia, who were so freaking corrupt that their top executives actually ended up in jail for once...

So, apparently on Saturday night the one co-worker here that I actually like as a real friend, got harassed by a bunch of drunk people because our bar was closed. They got back from their wedding party and started demanding that she call the bartender back (which she doesn't have the authority to do) and proceeded to harass her and call her racist, all while filming it on their cell phones.

She's not the sort of person to take that kind of attack well and had a break down.

I hope those elf holes watch their stupid videos and realize the kind of colossal Dickensians they were.
