Deep Fried Mars Bar.

It's a thing in Scotland it seems

Sadly, it is. I've only ever seen tourists eat it though ::P:

What we do specialize in here is fried, battered savoury food - Haggis, hamburger, scotch pies, and worst of all, pizza. It's called a Pizza Crunch and it is truly one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten :zombie:

If you come to a midwest fair, especially the bigger ones, you will find deep fried anything you can imagine and a few you can't. However scotch eggs have not caught on around here and I can't really imagine why. A hard boiled egg, peeled, wrapped in sausage, breaded and fried. They are super tasty especially when dipped in good mustard.

I can think again and even breeeeeathe a little! I had no idea just how foggy one's brain could be with allergies causing a mess. I've done 0 things on today's list. I'm so sorry, friends who have allergies. :(

I've known about my mold/dust/fungi allergies but those are things that I'm (usually) able to control. I can't imagine just not being able to step outside....

*Waves hand* You should see some of the foods that I tried in Cultural Anthropology.... (Fermented shark meat, anyone?)

Megan was more skeeved out by some of the things that I tried in that class that I liked. (Chocolate covered ants are seriously delicious. And that class wasn't even the first time I had tried them. The texture of a Crackle bar with the taste of Raisinettes.)

The Auld Grump - it helped that it was good chocolate. (But chocolate covered locusts/grasshoppers did not go on my list of favorite foods. Like squishy chocolate covered peanuts, with mysterious bits that get caught in your teeth.)

I talked to Jamie and Andrew about whether The Blight was appropriate for Sam....

They feel that it is, and Andrew commented that a lot of the words that Sam has asked him about are words he first learned in the old 1st edition Dungeon Master's Guide.... (Including the infamous Wandering Prostitutes table.)

That said, they also like the look of The Razor Coast, if Sam decides she wants to go in a more piratical direction. (Right now, she is still loving The Blight.)

They won't. We've had to put up with this sort of thing for years. All management does is bend over backwards to kiss their tushies.

I know. It's sort of a distant hope. Part of the last vestige of me that thinks people are good. Most of me doesn't think that anymore.

What I really hope is that they all have explosive diarrhea for a week.

Let them have a 30 day case of the can't leave the house because of diarrhea and I'm all in.

This sort of elfhattery needs to have consequences beyond a hangover, ~painfull~ life altering consequences of sufficient magnitude to take them out of circulation for a period of time.

Until this fever of deliberately rude behavior burns itself out and the pendulum swings back towards "normal civility" we are going to see a lot more of this [unfortunately for those of us who were "brought up right"].

Having our Exalted 3rd game tonight. We've gotten to the big fight that has been coined #SUICIDEMISSION. Hopefully none of the PCs will go down because that's be the end of the campaign and Husband has put tons of work into the plot beyond this point.

On a different note. I was contacted by my Mother's brother, who I've never met. I'm hesitant to talk with him. My Mom cut off her family ties shortly after I was born so I figure there's a good reason for that. I don't want him to use me to try to get to my Mom. I've told her that he tried to friend me on FB and she said just to not give out her info which is totally reasonable. I still haven't added him but have been slowly talking to him. Not much in the way of conversation has happened yet though.

You have access to their home addresses in the computer, right?  ::D:

I'm sure something can be arranged.

I have family out your way.  One of my relatives was stranded at work for three days due to the flooding after Floyd.

My father got stuck at work for three days during the Blizzard of'78.

You ruined them with chocolate.
