I've put Tabasco and/or Cholula on many, many food stuffs, but it never occurred to me to put it in chili.

My mom and brother love their Cholula sauce. I never got into the drippy vinegar pepper sauces. If I want vinegar, I'll use vinegar. If I want pepper, I'll use pepper. 10
Erifnogard
I think you'll find the venn diagram of veterans and people who eat a lot of Tabasco overlaps quite a bit. 7

Erifnogard
In other news, after wanting a set of Sej wands (game in CJ Cherryh's Serpents Reach novel) for years it finally occurred to me that 3D printers exist now and Shapeways will print things like dice. It's called 'Star & Rocket Sphericon d4' if anyone else happens to need some. Edited September 12, 2018 by Erifnogard

Tabasco and Red Hot are peppers and spices.... Just a different form. The Auld Grump - there used to be a local hot sauce that was made by a company that was owned and operated by teenage girls. I think it folded when they headed off for college. 9 2

My preferred chili is literally just meat, spices, and happiness. I add beans and other weird things to my northern chili. I love all kinds of food and I want to try them all, but goodness gracious am I glad to be born into the world of Tex-Mex right off the bat. I /really/ miss good Tex-Mex. I haven't found anywhere around here that does it right. There are decent places but nothing great. As for beans in chili it's a no go for me. I just don't like beans. On a different note, my doggo: He likes to watch you go up those stairs and look like he's going to come after you. I'm not sure he could get back down if he did go up them. He also thinks he's a lap dog. Edited September 12, 2018 by SparrowMarie
