Double oh! I got offered a, very, temp job helping someone figure out Quickbooks and Google Drive and it's associated programs. I've never worked with Quickbooks but I should figure it out for myself for future use. I'm pretty well versed in the Google stuff though. No idea how much it'd pay but it's more money than none.

Google up a user manual. You may be suprised at what you learn.

Googling manuals saved my bacon when I had to run the microwave at a private party in an unfamiliar state.

A) Thank all the gods for wi-fi

B) WHY DOES EVERY MICROWAVE WORK DIFFERENTLY FROM EVERY OTHER MICROWAVE?

(Seriously, this one's controls were completely counterintuitive)

Awesome!!

And yeah, Quickbooks is fairly intuitive, and there are lots of online resources. You've got this!

Walk was nice. A little too early for bed yet, but soon... SOONTM!!

Until then, a bit of music and some blogging. Maybe some ice cream?

When a bunch of people press the same wrong button (or disconnect the same wrong box), that's usually an indication that there's a problem with the user interface. Here, it sounds like the user interface is a blank label with a handwritten note on a black plastic box.

If it were me, I'd consider making a custom label with a very prominent "Bridge" written in large black text with a small box below saying something like "Connected to: ____________". Make sure that whatever space there is would not easily contain something more obvious to a casual observer than "Bridge".

Now, I can pretty much guarantee that this won't be enough to stop everyone from making mistakes, but it might help. At the least, you can more easily identify the box to the customer over the phone.

And that's why I posted here.  We've talked about changes to the label before, but the "Connected to:___________" is brilliant.  I can whip up a redesign on the label in no time - then it's just a matter of getting management to agree.

Oh, lol, no it's fine. Everything is making me queasy right now  When I get hungry/queasy, I have a difficult time eating, because everything I think about eating makes my stomach churn. But so far, I can still eat most things. Mexican food is out, along with bacon and other pork products.

Hubby has been really good about helping me find food I want to eat.

I think my lizard is gonna be a picky eater.

I would have sworn the same thing, but she eats EVERYTHING that looks remotely like food.

I do not miss morning sickness, and it lasted forever, but I loved carrying BD.

But I wanted to strangle Grumpy more than once when he was trying to be HELPFUL at the wrong moment.

He'd find food, and it would be delicious, and half an hour later it would come right back up.

Pickles stayed down, and so did stuff I would never have expected, and some even helped other food stay down. Sauerkraut helped a lot, which makes NO SENSE!

Wow. Now I want sauerkraut, kielbasa, onions, and rice.

If Grump was awake, he would be asking if I was pregnant.

Poor Sam. Our barista called out, so the manager is here trying to figure out the machine. It's a finicky machine. It doesn't look like it's going well.

If it's an espresso machine, make sure the coffee is packed down HARD and level.

Jeepers! You buy new brushes (still sealed) in May, you last post in Forums in July and suddenly it is October and you're wondering how you got here.

*sigh*

Also, the website is down, but isitdown.com is showing that the website has been down for over 6 days.  Is that correct?

HD Paints discontinued?!?

*boogle*

I'm just having a bad dream, right?!?

It was the left turn at Albuquerque.  That gets everyone.

Reaper's site?  I haven't been having any issues.

Yes, but the other lines are likely to take over the existing areas.

*scrabble*

Maybe.  Maybe not.  Am I figment of your imagination, or you a figment of mine?  Or is it someone else who pulls the strings?

Whew!  Reapermini.com is back up.  I figured it might have been a minor issue, but when .... *checks actual website used* ... isitdownrightnow.com showed it as being 6 days 4 hours... I was slightly concerned.

If my traffic is routing through Alba-que-kirk, we have a bigger problem.  My traffic should go straight up to Tyler across I-20 to DFW and then a minor jog north to Denton.  That could still be 20 hops, but it could be as few as 5.

Strings... strings... hmmm... well, they're well hidden if I have strings.  But now I have a hankering to listen to Mozart in the Jungle while I search for some minis.

Nice.  Still items in my shopping cart.  Wonder what I was looking for last time?  lol...

That's exactly what he was doing wrong. He was being waaaay too gentle with it. But he didn't want my help, so I left him to suffer.
