This looks very good - but I find it strange that only concept art exists for even the first stretch goal miniature.

I agree!  Especially with delivery set for March 2019.

The next miniature SG is supposed to be another large lord figure but again only concept art.

They are starting to lose me.  By now, everyone that's launching a board game should know that you need the rulebook (draft) and a gameplay video.  I'm also finding it concerning that for an Australian company, their grasp of English is rather tenuous.

Beta rulebook download on the project main page about two thirds of the way down.

A gameplay video showing a short sample round and another video explaining a stat card breakdown appear just below the rulebook download.

As for the English ... there are quite a few Oriental names on their staff list (and one African surname too, I think Nguyen's African isn't it?)

This is beginning to remind me of the recent Overturn Risining Sands kickstarter where it turned out it was a Canadian kickstarter in name only as everyone involved was in Pakistan.

I see what you mean but Limbo already has a resin miniature line and is a real company with a web store.  They have some really nice pieces!

Also a Youtuber by the name of King of Average received some pieces from Limbo and he posted a video of the pieces.

I think @Balgin Stondraeg is correct in that this is a real Australian company but English is the creator's second language.  It is very close to Asia.  And Australia has a very high Asian population.

They have been very active in the comments and have responded well to people's concerns and tips.   This is also their 2nd project.

I think they are just very inexperienced with a large KS project and this is their first boardgame which also is a challenge for them.

Yes, I've seen the beta rulebook and the VERY limited videos.  It's not enough to really show me how the game plays.  Put two people at a table and have them actually play it.  Let's see that there's some strategy other than simply trading blows.  Let's see the cards in action and how using fate points at the right (or wrong) time can impact the game.  I don't think that's too much to ask.

I merely meant that there are a lot of Chinese & Japanese folk in Australia.

I do like the back and forth idea of spent fate points essentially being passed to the opponent at the end of the round. It can allow the battle to sway back and forth. I would like to see it in action some more to get a feel for how much it would impact the game.
