Ok, so there's a "gameplay video" coming.  And they are using Tabletop Simulator.  I have absolutely no problem with that.  What I kind of do have a problem with is that they won't be using the cards (but we'll see since he says he'll be explaining lots of things about them) and it's only a single turn of a game.  One turn does not allow me to get a feel for the ebb and flow.  I'm still sticking with it, but they are losing me.  How hard is it to use proxy figures, print out the other components and record a couple people playing the game?  I'm not asking for studio quality here, but c'mon...  It's a board game project.  Show me the game.

Things have finally been picking up but overall still a little slow on the unlocks.  Some future SGs:

I understand @Dan d'Lyon's concern regarding the gameplay and fully understand where he is coming from but, for those of you who haven't been follow the campaign, the creators have been very involved and extremely willing to work with the backers.  They have added and adjusted SGs and have been very active in answering  backers' questions.  I feel that they are really working hard to please everyone but have dropped the ball in gameplay department which will hopefully be somewhat remedied tonight.  The add ons have been great with 2 more confirmed and possibly a third being added before the end of the campaign.

If you're looking for miniatures this is where you need to be!  If gameplay is a big factor then check out the gameplay video that should be posted sometime today.  We could use some help getting these SGs unlocked!

So...I'm finding myself in something of a conundrum. I watched the video and I've decided that the game is just not for me. Really just personal preference. But the minis truly are gorgeous, so it might be worth staying in and selling it when delivered. The price is certainly affordable for the contents. And if a few more SG's get added, it looks like crazy good value. Have about 10 days to decide.

This thing has turned into a disaster!  We've lost 40+ backers in the last couple of days and this thing has been pretty much stalled out since the first couple of days.

I am staying in but I am not quite sure what is going on and why so many people are bailing.

I think (at the moment) that what is on offer now is enough to justify spending the money. But ...the campaign is not being handled very professionally. It's no longer enough to start a Kickstarter, you have to be present, you should have rules and a good/professional gameplay video almost from day one ... as well as maybe a "review" by a youtuber. They also "cave in" very quickly concerning backer demands, reversing decisions, altering goals etc. While this can be seen as "listening to the community" it can also be a sign of "we need all the money we can get" or "we are easily swayed by popular demand - no matter if it's good for the project or not".

I'll keep a close eye (and my pledge for the moment). At least they showed a close-up of a production quality miniature - which was extremely nice.

I don't know brick about this project, but this caught my attention in the Unread Content screen because it's a major red flag for me with KS these days.

It often gives me a feeling that the project creators haven't done enough of their homework, which generally ends badly.

Yeah, I'm responsible for a bit of that drop in funding.

As excited as I was for this, my interest is gone.

I've spent the last couple of weeks selling minis I've gotten from various kickstarters, that I've barely even looked at, let alone done anything with.

And it's just made me realise that, as cool as these minis look, I'm never actually going to paint most of them (or probably any of them) and the money is better spent elsewhere.

Still in for a $ though, want to see if I can just get the Angel-Lion-Centaur-Lady add-on on it's own in the pledge manager.
