Limbo: Eternal War - June 2018

Recommended Posts

So after a lot of waiting, a lot of communications not happening and a lot of deadlines not met ... they seem to be sending out emails asking for shipping. But as they are late doing so (again), as certain questions have not been answered (again) and as Vincent (whose job is to send out European and Australian mails) has not accomplished to do so (again), I have no requested a refund. Yeah, that's "giving up" a meter before the finishing line, but the whole experience was unpleasant (and a couple of things were not mentioned while the project was running) and I simply do not want to support a "company" that treats its customers/investors/backers like this. I communicated with Vincent a bit more than a month ago and he said they would start collecting shipping "very soon". I told him I'd wait 3-4 weeks. Seeing that mails for Europeans have not yet gone out and Vincent is silent on the question of EU-friendly shipping (which was promised during the project), I've finally had enough.

I received a very large box today with the game. Figures look nice (they were the main reason I got the game) hopefully someday I will be motivated to paint them.

I'm eagerly awaiting my delivery. Glad to hear the figures look good. How large are the standard miniatures' bases, and the grid on the maps?

Bases & grids are 1 & 3/16th inches. I couldn't find any of my measuring devises in metric. Figures are a little taller than Reaper minis, but heads are a little smaller than Reaper minis.

Thanks. As someone living in America, I prefer getting it in inches, especially since I'm playing Pathfinder and utilize a 1" grid. I was curious how the bases would work with my current game, since I backed this for the minis, not the war game.

I am eagerly awaiting the news that the other ships have left the Chinese harbour bound for places outside Americaland.

I got my expansion last night.. huge box, tiny little figures..  of course they decided to make the figure I bought the expansion for in a 75mm Resin, so now I need to figure out what to do with them

Got my delivery yesterday. Gorgeous miniatures. Some slight warping on a few that'll need to be addressed, and I'll be rebasing all of them to make them work for Pathfinder. I didn't buy it for the game, TBH. Just wanted the pretty, pretty miniatures. Going to be spending a lot of time rebasing them, that's for sure...

It's a shame that the 3-D walls got discontinued due to costs. I don't remember seeing that announced, and was sort of looking forward to them, but it's not the major concern.

Just throwing this out there for anyone interested (yes I did back and no, I don't know them)...
I did back their last KS as well and was happy with the results. They did a great in keeping people up to date and got all of the files out quickly.

The figures look "funny" in the pictures due to them using the print-ready 3D files. I think that at the smaller scales especially, they are enhanced just enough so they will keep their detail and make them easier to paint IMO.

Anyway take a look if you are interested!

Just a fun little surprise I happened across earlier.  No pictures of the dice and it's ending today, but some really nice ones on their store and I've friends who own some so I thought I'd give it a go.
