Popular Post Dontfear
I found some Disney princess busts on Amazon for cheap and decided to give them a shot but with a bit of a twist. Vampire Belle: My first bust actually, it was a blast to paint Edited April 25, 2018 by Dontfear
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted April 25, 2018 Moderator Share Posted April 25, 2018 Wow. That really is some great paintwork. Wonderful looking sculpt too. It's amazing what can be found in Japanese vending machines. 2 1
Dontfear
Interestingly it is made of a very bones like material and is an extremely nice sculpt. I also have a princess Aurora that I haven't quite decided how to paint.

Aurora could look great that way as well, Santa Muerta, black dress and facepaint?
Dontfear
That would be interesting, I was thinking something like a banshee or a dryad but that is a good option I had not considered
Cyradis
I like the banshee or dryad ideas. She could also go kinda zombie - she slept so long she started to decay!
Glitterwolf
Or go Demon. Yellow eyes without pupils, red skin, black hair, maybe some occult signs on her dress?
Dontfear
I want her to use the Disney visual language to clearly communicate that she is a Disney character so I won't do anything that modifies her look too drastically. I'll probably paint something else first and ruminate

The fact that I wanted inexpensive busts to practice on has nothing to do with my enthusiasm. Sort of an alternate "the prince never showed up" alternate ending. Your Belle looks fantastic!

Gadgetman!
I'm not a fan of the vampire look, but... It's vell done, and particularly her hair looks incredible. I found the set on ebay. (for about half the price of what it goes for on the river site)
