DSM7989, Maid Marian the Fox

Hi everyone! Here's another Critter I completed today. DSM7989, Maid Marian the Fox sculpted by Dave Summers. This 28mm pewter model is from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. I painted her as a brown fox with Reaper's Master Series Paint and used ink for the Object-source lighting (OSL) effect.

I like the blue and yellow dress a lot! The OSL looks neato, although I admit that I thought it was iridescence at first instead - which also looked way cool.

Nice.  I expected a red fox like Disney's Maid Marian, but I like the way you went with it!

Thanks for your comments everyone. I'm glad you enjoy. I was not sure if the fire radiance was strong enough but I didn't want to make it too intense either. I first highlighted the entire gown with pale blue and white and then applied the yellow ink layer.

 

I decided to paint her as a brown fox since I alredy painted several other models as red fox. I'm now working on the mage and shaman which will be white foxes. I was keeping the pale tone fur for the wise and older stereotypical wizards character.
