You must have been working on these forever !!!

Stunning work Glitter !!

Simply gobsmak Stunning !

Great job, and flesh is NOT the easiest to work on.

The face work is really excellent also.

Thanks for the kind comment Jasonator.

To be clear it is ONE bust, I left the hat and bustier off for the first set of pics, the bustier is not glued on the final version either.

I loved the options and didn't want to choose..

I still need to improve on things, but I'm happy with her as is.

The Pirate Life suits the Girl; she will never have to worry about drowning. She certainly is a BEAUTIFULLY painted creation. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks Al!

She was a lot of fun to paint although I had to skip my first idea for painting the bustier sheer.

I need more practice to pull that off.

The bandana was freehand which I think worked.

The rust effect on the plinth is from the Vallejo Special Effects Set.

She's just stunning! I've been following the WIP so I know how much work you put into her and it was well worth it!

Thank you!

I learn a little bit more every time I paint a larger mini or bust.

I love painting busts, I've already got the next one lined up!

Especially impressed with the Macaw, headscarf and rusty base.

Thanks!

The macaw is copied from a picture, I already painted a smaller version for my 54mm Maria Roseblade.

Headscarf was freehand and the rust is Vallejo Rust, Dried Rust and P3 Pig Iron.

Captain Scarlet came out great. Wonderful work on her.

I have got one remark though: One of her eyes looks out of place.

But maybe that is absolutely understandable. Of course she is suffering from paranoia. A long life as a pirate lets you have your eyes just everywhere. Enemies, bouys, shallow waters ... always have an eye checking your port side and one on the starboard side.
