I'm still in.... but am like 99% out... The value thing is not a big concern for me.  The question about scale does and they haven't really addressed it or shown any scale shot that I am aware of. 14 more days though so I am still waiting and watching.

"Solomon Kane includes a huge selection of beautiful 35mm scale miniatures, ranging from the man himself, through dastardly foes and innocent bystanders, to the towering Virtues who aid him. Although nominally 35mm (the height of an average man), the miniatures are all different sizes depending on the individual they represent. This gives us a range from 27mm tall children to the 90mm tall Virtues."

I believe those measurements are from the feet to the top of the head.

Yeah I read that. Doesn't really help me though. I am more visual with this stuff. If I saw Sir Forscale next to Solomon I would know. But just raw numbers like that I have no idea how they would look next to other ranges.

I believe Forscale is 28mm from feet to top of head and 47mm from feet to tip of sword.

Regarding the scale, hopefully they will have pictures soon, but during today's KS live, Leo showed comparisons with Conan, Mythic Battles, Warhammer, and I think some more, but I missed a bit of it, and it's basicallty in scale with all of those.

Yeah, these are scaled well. I am in for now.

It is a shame I am only really interesed in the minis. The game itself is a lot of forest that could have been spared for my part. 2000+ cards? Umpteen boards? That takes up an lot of shelfspace I really do not have. And it means it will be heavy shipping as well.

Did someone mention a solo mode?
