June 7: Will you cross anything off your bucket list this year?

Thanks, TGP!

I don't have a bucket list. I figure if I haven't done it by now, I never will. I have reached that stage where someday & never are synonymous.

I don't necessarily have a bucket list, but for goals and all that I've technically already done that with a few things...

- Acquired a camera (and then two weeks later acquired desire for the new shiny one that came out two months later, lol)

- Acquired a decent lens for said camera

- Got a decent selection of miniature paints

- Got a nice brush to paint said miniatures

About the only thing left on the list right now is, uhm, well...  The f1.2 lenses from Olympus, the 17mm and 45mm ones, although if I could only get one I want the 17mm.  .... And a decent ND filter, and of course a nice monopod alongside the Ronin S...

Okay, I apparently still have a few things left on that list to go ^_^

I suppose this counts; I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood just like the neighborhood I spent my teen years in (ages 10-20).

We close on a house two streets over from that house on the 27th. We're going to be a bit house poor for a few years, but we get to raise our kiddo in an area with sidewalks, bike paths, big trees, backyards, other kids, etc. Worth it.

Nope, but I added something to the Bucket List for 2020!

Revisio 1: Actually, let me add to that and say... I don't think I'll complete anything on the Bucket List this year, but I have made steps that will make one of them possible this year or next.  And it actually relates to these here boards and you there people.  Completely paint all the components in a boar game that has miniatures.  My current selections are Zombicide, Toxic City Mall, Black Plague, Wolfsburg (kind of cheating to just do this one), Massive Darkness, KDM (oh... heck no... this is the last on the list), and then my wife got a Walking Dead kickstarter in with all the main characters and the RV.  But focusing it down and actually completing one is next on the list.  So... maybe!

Oh, and the 2020 thing is to take my wife to see the CrossFit Games in Madison in 2020 (she's a fanatic)... and it is the only year that I don't have a niece or nephew graduating in the next 5 years... and let's not even think about marriages...

Yes! I'm finally at a place where I feel like I can handle some added responsibility and I begin foster parent classes next month! I've wanted to be a foster parent pretty much since my parents became foster parents 10 years ago but ya know, life and general insecurity kept me from getting it done.

I don't really have a bucket list.

So... create a bucket list with the bucket list as the first (and only) item?

Man, my life is sooo fulfilled. (It sounds better than saying I'm too lazy to do anything).

Not sure it was a bucket list item, but completing a move to what could well be a "forever home". Other than that, probably not. :(

Bucket list? Visiting China, though there will be several major landmarks we're not going to see this trip.

June 2 and 3: Which paint in your collection do you use the most?

Bonus! Try using the opposite color this weekend/next time you paint!

Brown. Not so much the sky brown, fire brown, and grass brown, though.

June 4: Do you/can you display your geekiness at work? What do you have? Posters, Han Solo bobble head, figures that you have painted, etc?

Various photographs and my Origins Award nomination. I've brought in some painted minis, because the corporate marketing folks (who are mostly graphic designers and artists) were interested.

June 5: What's your favorite season? What do you like about it?

Not-Summer. When it gets cold, you can put on more clothes. When it gets hot, at some point, if you keep taking off clothes they arrest you.

That said, fall is probably highest on the list, because in winter and spring the snow in the mountains is either falling or not yet melted, so it's harder to get out and hike.

Too many things I want to do to make a list. I'll definitely visit someplace I haven't visited before, though, so maybe that counts?

I have started working on my bucket list. Past weekend I finally picked up and started learning Ukulele.

Also on the list to try and get done before December are building a knife and building a bow.

Hmm. Doing a lot of good stuff this year, but I don't know if any are what I'd say bucket list items. Bucket list items are quirky stuff to me. Top of the list is "poke lava with a stick" and I don't think I'll get to do that this year, despite the availability half an ocean away right now.

Over half a century of marginally questionable behavior later, I have found that my remaining bucket list is rather short, and most of the few items on it, I can't discuss here due to forum rules...

It's time again for a year-end roundup of the figures I managed to finish last year. These are the figures I finished during the calendar year of 2018, which was, let me tell you, another ... interesting year.

I was absent from here for much of 2018 (starting mid-August 2017), but that doesn't mean I wasn't painting. I hope to post a bunch of pics over the next week detailing all the minis I painted before August 2018. March featured a ton of stuff for convention GMing and I also painted a bunch for Tomb of Annihilation. And just whatever I felt like.
I'm going through stuff elsewhere to see what's been done and soon I'll be posting the list of minis (and also linking to other show-off threads).
