June 6: If you were in charge of your favorite movie/tv franchise, what would do with it next?

Thanks, Crowley!

I would rip it from the current owners and have the series have a proper ending, not the unceremonious ending it had from the network.

June 7: Will you cross anything off your bucket list this year?

Thanks, TGP!

I already have.  I am the proud owner of Takhisis number 2014.  The next goal is to paint her within the next 24 months.

Thanks, TGP!

I don't have a bucket list.  I don't keep a to-do list.  And I certainly don't make New Year's resolutions.

At the end of the day, I can look back and sigh in contentment that I don't have anything outstanding to keep me awake into the wee hours. ::D:

June 8: Are you in any clubs or organizations? Have you started any?

Thanks again, TGP!

I am a founder member of the secret Illuminati who are the true rulers of the world.

... And I go to an indoor bowls club when I am at home on Thursdays.

No, not really. Also no.

I'm hoping my membership to the 'I'm not good enough to paint that' club gets revoked soon, though.

Not really.  Decades ago I was a member of the ITF Tae Kwon Do, but I won't even admit to people (that aren't my friends) that I was part of that dojo anymore (they're a giant corporate monster of a company now that cares more about money than it does teaching to put it in short form)...

Uhm, arguably I'm a member of a car club, but they've kind of died off over the years due to not so internal drama and power plays....

So yeah, oddly enough, not really part of any clubs or organisations at this time, and I don't mind.  Once I get a car again though I can pretty much guarantee I'll be joining CSCC (Calgary Sports Car Club) as well as registering with the WCMA and SCCA (autocross sanctioning bodies) and the several local rally organizations (since there are provincial, and national organizations), even if all I'll be doing is NavEx (I find TSD rallies to be a lot more interesting, because its about navigating, not who can go the fastest)

I play goalie on a beer league hockey team. Then there's work, I guess. Depending on how broad we are viewing the term "organization", but that's probably not the intent of the question.

Thanks again, TGP!

I helped start an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) network, which is still going.  I won't claim it's going strong since none of us who started it have had the time to really do anything with it.  (IRC is a dying medium anyway.)

I'm technically still a member of my WoW guild but I let my subscription lapse since I haven't played in four years.

I wouldn't mind being part of a regular painting group but I'm not strongly inclined to start one.  (I'm trying not to pick up new responsibilities.  I'm overcommitted as is.)

As much as it shocks me to say it, I might.

I don't really keep a bucket list, but one thing I have always had in the back of my mind was starting a company within my chosen field. Having (stupidly) taken the plunge at the end of 2017, there is  chance that we will get this thing off the ground in 2018, which would be pretty exciting, regardless of how it turns out in the long run.

Between this, and all the amazing ( :bday: ) and tragic ( ) things happening in my personal life, ima take 2019 off, ok?

Just the city's Gamers Guild that my friends run once a month here, it's to promote boardgaming at its finest.

Sorry, I have been a member of the Gamers Guild since the 70's.  We meet once a week on Tuesdays.  It started in Kent Ohio, but we meet at five houses, none of which are in Kent.

At this time I belong to a Meetup Group for Disc Golf.  Before this I was part of Cleveland Boomerang School but that has disbanded because the founder retired and moved away too far to commute to our meetings.  For a while I was in the USBA.  The United States Boomerang Association but we had a problem with our local tournament and had to part ways.

I was part of the Hackmasters Association (for Aces and Eights the western Role playing game) but the company dissolved that.

Other than that I belong to the Skilton Family Reunion (National, Ohio and Avery Skilton) but I was not aroun when that was founded over one hundred years ago.

Not as such. At certain workplaces I was one of the founding members of a cabal designed to limit the damage done by elfhat new managers. Unfortunately, when the owners of the business don't know their elf from a hole in the ground and surround themselves with those who tell them what they want to hear this quickly becomes an unwinnable battle.

I don't know if it really counts as an organization, but I have resumed my position as regular at Southern Belle Resturant.
