I decided.  My class list is:

1000-1145 Blending -- Layering and Feathering (Markon)

1300-1445 Good Fast Painting (Wolter)

Friday:
1000-1445 Total Metal!!! - A Complete NMM Bootcamp (Markon)

Saturday:
1000-1145 Flesh and Faces (Saturday) (Hartwell)
1700-1845 Exotic Non-Metallic Metal (Markon)

We'll get to hang out a bunch that weekend!  ::D:

Very frustrated. While I was flailing around trying to figure out how to buy my classes, the two I wanted most of all sold out (Total metal and Painted ladies).

Now I'm trying to figure out how to see on the Growtix site which classes I've paid for and which I've merely registered for, in case a spot in either of those two classes becomes available later.

Speaking of which, has anyone figured out how to drop a class yet?

Maybe you'll be able to get one of the day-of tickets for one of them?

I'm going to try for the Total Metal one at least; my goal for this Reapercon was to finally learn NMM.

Well, here's what I did manage to get into:

Glazing: When, Why, and How (A. Pieper)

True Metallic Metals (D. Diamondstone)

How to create a Spooky Tree (J. Guthrie)

Intro to OSL (J. Greenwald)

Blending with the Loaded Brush Technique (and NMM) (M. Klieman)

I very nearly bought tickets to my own classes in my panic, but noticed in time to remove them from my cart. I put them on my schedule to remind me not to schedule anything during that time.

Goodness, there were so many I wanted to take. So many good subjects and teachers! I thought I was only going to be able to buy 2 classes, but with the price variations I was able to get 4! Some were sold out of course, but it's all good. :)

I will agree with it being kind of wonky. I was not able to get into my account from last year, it didn't make me create an account this year, and I never got my password reset email.

But I was able to use the link from my confirmation Reaper Con tickets email as a "log in" and get my tickets. Even though at the top right, it kept asking me to log in. Who knows.

I got...

Expressive Faces (Derek Schubert)

Character Design (Hi Christine! :) )

Sculpting Details (Bob Ridolfi, Julie Guthrie)

Sculpting Nature (Talespinner)

I'm pretty sure all of those are on Thursday except for sculpting nature, which should be on Saturday. I'm not really sure since I can't login LOL.

This one IS Sat at 10AM.  My daughter and I will be in there.  I need to get her used to green stuff instead of the clay she has been using so she is ready to go. Pretty sure she will still do better than me.

If your daughter likes to sculpt with clay, has she used Fimo or Super Sculpey?  I believe some serious miniature sculptors use those polymer clays for their work.  Tom Mason is a Fimo sculptor with a youtube channel she could check out if that's of interest.  I think he does green stuff work as well.

When you get the chance, @Reaper Ron, could you see what’s up with the “My schedules” page? The one I have for myself and the wife has “Registration Count” at 4 for one class, zero or 1 for the others, along with 1 4-day pass for me, but 3 for her.

think that’s all inconsequential, but just worried me that it shows up so screwy. The tickets that I can get the 2d barcode for all seem right.

PM Sent.

Also, Jen Greenwald's freehand class apparently was also messed up. Got that fixed, so anyone can now register for her excellent freehand class.

Great. I just picked a different class because I thought that one was gone.<_<

Is it possible to drop a class I've already purchased in favor of Jen Greenwald's intro to freehand class?

Yup, you may do so. Contact us at [email protected] with what you'd like to do.

And guess what? You will get to be our first guinea pig in this process. :)
