Oh! Right, I hear ya'. I've (hopefully!) paid for all the classes listed on that schedule, so I didn't realize it might not reflect that.

Xauhaudoom
Only was able to get one class just a minutes ago, and then can't register for any other. Site goes to check out with no classes to purchase. Web site does not tell if classes are sold out. Frustrating!
Xauhaudoom
Looks like the web site for classes is working now, just added another'

I need to get her used to green stuff instead of the clay she has been using so she is ready to go. Pretty sure she will still do better than me. Have her find christine at the Con. She says she'd be happy to help her with whatever she's trying to do. Christine uses polymer clay, though you DO need to use green stuff too. Sounds like a lot of the things she has made lately were with the FIMO she got for Christmas. We learned what happens when you let her place everything on a cookie sheet as she makes them and then decide to bake it all months later after it has sat there on a counter. That plus one of the items she left on sheet had plastic jewels stuck on it!!! Amazed we did not all die from the fumes.

Both good products.

I'd be happy to talk to you guys about products, tools, techniques I've discovered (often the hard way)!

fanguad
Is "Let's get Stoned" one of the classes with problems? It doesn't show up for me when I try to purchase tickets. Nevermind... it showed up just now Edited June 13, 2018 by fanguad
Members SamuraiJack
I missed the announcement, and now every class but 1 I wanted is sold out. This may impact whether I come or not.. Should we have gotten an email from Growtix announcing they went up for sale?

Here and social media sites is how I knew to jump on and grab classes at 1PM on the day they went live.

Highlander
As I consider the experience, I have two impressions. First, the site was faster and, conceptually, simpler than in past years. That is, if you know how to build your list of classes, it was pretty straightforward. And it didn't immediately crash, as has been the past experience. Second, the site had issues. The main one was responsiveness in letting you know where you were in the registration process. Another was clarity. One was pretty unaware of whether you had registered successfully or not until several minutes after you may or may not have registered. One was unaware whether you had actually gotten the classes you had attempted to register for until later -- in fact, my schedule page is still unclear one on class I have been assured I am indeed registered for. And, to this day, I am confused on how, after finally deciding one has attempted to register and then decide that one is not actually registered for a class, how to go back in and register for another class. I don't even know if you can. The message traffic seemed to indicate many multiple attempts to do pretty simple things. What was woefully lacking was a guide -- with specific, non-ambiguous instructions. Or a help page that actually provided relevant information. That is, a page that told you exactly how to select and then register and then pay for each class and each combination of classes. And told you what your options are if you don't get a class you want. I am under the impression that there is some sort of wait list, but I don't know. Yeah, depending upon your personal situation, the site can be pretty user hostile. 3
