This looks interesting ... no, actually it looks too good to be true - the buildings are plastic and almost (?) correctly scaled.

 

 

Has anybody heard about that before? Or about the company? I hope they show better pictures of the minis as it looks a bit as they are light on detail.

Definitely interesting looking, that's for sure.  Quite a few minis for the price, and... Base set has six gameboards too?

They also offer a pledge level that allows you to just buy add-ons ...

The buildings are really almost to scale ...

 

Which means ... this would almost be a no-brainer for me:

They answered a couple of my questions:

 

- "Miniatures are made of high grade PVC allowing more detail to be captures" ... for what that's worth, but at least it sounds like they are not going for totally soft, bendy board game plastics ...

- Rulebook will be available as PDF later in the campaign as well as some "let's play" videos

This looks interesting. They minis don't look great, but you get a ton for that price. I will keep an eye, this may replace Solomon Kane for me.

Yeah, I'll probably drop Solomon Kane anyways ... the game itself simply does not grab me and having backed Anno Domini, I have a number of swashbucklers now ...

 

Did you watch the video? It shows the miniatures up close (though we don't know if these are production minis) and at least the heroes were better than I expected.

Edit. Ok, they look better than the pictures. I'm in. Will decide between this and Solomon Kane next week.

The buildings have me tempted. Do we have more info on the material type, quality, and scale?

Buried deep in the comment section, it seems the buildings will be plastic. Watching the video, I'd say if the minis are 32mm, the buildings are 28mm scale (or a bit smaller) - but I'd say they are very usable.

Question for the hive mind ... is it even possible to realistically offer that much content at that price? Look at the core box ... miniatures and buildings (not to mention the cardboard stuff) ...
