Question for Monday, July 9th: Do you enjoy binge watching TV shows, or do you prefer to enjoy them in a more drawn out fashion?

I have a tendency to binge. I binge a lot less now that I have to be careful what I watch in front of the boy.

Surprise Bonus Question for Monday July 9th: How many episodes counts as a binge? Does the length of the episodes make a difference?

Three or four 40 minute episodes.

Or, however long it takes for you to suddenly realise you've got work in six hours and you should probably get to bed.

Getting through a whole DVD in one go (So 3 to 4 hour long episodes or 6ish half hour ones).

A couple-three; unless it's a weekend, I don't really have time for longer than that. If it IS a weekend, I've got better things to do.

Depends on the Show.

Criminal Minds nope, nope, nope ...nada, never, nope. Some channel near me is in the habit running eight of those back to back every Wednesday ..?.. I think. I used to could watch that show once a week, but multiples in a day ....Yipes.

For shows I like better: As Glitterwulf and Halfling said,  3 or 4 in one go is my limit.

3 to 6 and:

Sortof.

The Rule of Three: 3 hours in a row or 3 consequetive episodes is a binge.

Question for Tuesday, July 10th: What was the last thing you baked? What was the last baked item you ate?

I made Black Forest cupcakes, ably assisted by my two-year-old helper.IMG_20180622_143344810.thumb.jpg.97fc4e128ce8681f237d3afb5dfb418e.jpg

He approved of our work.

Last baked thing that I ate was a little custard bun thing from the supermarket, they are about 60c each and very tasty.

Last thing I baked was a pastry filled with spicey ground beef and herbs.

Last baked thing I ate, carrot cake.

Does grilled cheese count? I have a few in the oven as we speak.

I made a cake for my husband's birthday at the beginning of May.

I had a sandwich about two hours ago... it had bread >_>

I think the last thing I baked was either muffins, cookies, or bread, but it's been a little while.  I don't count taking pre-packaged food out of a box, putting it on a cooking tray, and then into the oven as such ^_^;;;;

As for last baked good consumed?  Some sort of pizza cone thing that tasted nothing of pizza.  Was an interesting idea, but I won't do it again.

Last thing I baked was a Half-pound cake to bring to sea.

Last baked thing I ate was a bread roll, fresh out of the oven as the cook makes bread every day.

Depends on what it is. If I'm into it, yeah. I will binge watch till there is no more. Some things, I just can't. Hard sci-fi, mostly. Black Mirror I can do one or two episodes at most, then I'm done for a week or two. As good as it is, its a lot to take in.

I can (and have) binge watched Criminal Minds and Supernatural straight through in a month (for each one).

I have found that as much as I want to enjoy it, I had to give up on Once Upon a Time. The good guys never win and it's just too depressing.

The last thing I baked at home was peanut butter brownies. Several weeks ago. The last thing I baked at work was some filled croissants, about 30 minutes ago.

I am overdue for a croissant and shall remedy that now.

Question for Friday, July 6th: Do you display your minis? If so, how do you decide which minis to display? And how do you display them? If not, why not?

Bonus Question: Is anyone else displaying one of your minis?

Yes, I have a case on my desk at work and one on the wall at home.  I display pieces that I feel are bronze or higher quality and those that have been gifted to me.

@Jabberwocky might be displaying the Jabberwock I painted for him (it is his Avatar).  My son is displaying the dwarf I painted for him.  Beyond that I'm not sure.  Do we count sculpts?  If so, are any of you displaying any of my sculpts? ::P:

Question for the weekend of July 7th & 8th: Monster Skin - When you think of goblins, hobgoblins, bugbears, orcs, gnolls, and kobolds, etc., what colors do you mentally picture? Is that how you paint your minis? Are these colors influenced by any particular artwork, description in a book, or appearance in a movie?

Goblins and Hobgoblins: Oranges to reds

Bugbears: yellowish brown

Orcs: grey

Gnols: as per a hyena

Kobolds: muted draconic colors

When and if I have the time I will binge.  I seldom have the time and will usually eschew watching any TV at all; it is such a waste of time with nothing to show for the time when done.  I do however watch Forged in Fire regularly, as I learn a lot from that show.

I seldom bake, being on a low-carb lifestyle.  I guess I baked buns last Thanksgiving.  I ate a part of one of my Mom's sweet rolls last week, because, how could I not.
