Question for Tuesday, July 10th: What was the last thing you baked? What was the last baked item you ate?

The last thing I baked was probably some sort of casserole.

The last baked items I ate were stuffed green bell peppers as part of dinner last night.

I used to bake bread.  I stopped mostly due to a lack of time.

Surprise Bonus Question for Monday July 9th: How many episodes counts as a binge? Does the length of the episodes make a difference?

I define binge watching as watching only (or almost) that show for many episodes in a row, whether in one sitting or over days. Which is to say that for me the issue is lack of variation, not number at a time.

E.g., If I were to watch only Midsomer Murders for 5 nights in a row, even if I only watched 5 or 6 episodes, I'd call that binge watching.

I bake bread.

I've been baking my own homemade bread for over 5 years. Anyone coming to my place will always see a loaf of homemade bread, and if not, then there's bread dough rising nearby.

That being said, I'm still in the middle of a move, so I don't have access to my regular full kitchen. So I haven't baked anything special in over three months (do potatoes count?). Last baked item I ate would be... pizza?

Hmn, I baked cinnamon rolls over the weekend, but the last item I made from scratch was rosemary parmesan crackers  last week.   The last baked item I ate was an almond croissant,  but I am about to eat some sourdough toast for breakfast.   I want to try these https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/everything-bagel-cheese-crackers-5293910?soc=sharepin this afternoon.

Part 1: Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie. This is an iron-clad start-of-summer tradition for me.

Part 2: A croissant, about two hours ago.

*burp*.

Sadly, frozen, premade tacos...  This would also be the last baked thing that I ate.

I made a classic Victoria Sponge about 2 months ago.I don't bake that much- my housemate is an insanely good baker, so I usually end up helping them with all the tedious stuff like weighing stuff and cleaning up instead.

I'm currently eating a big Walnut cookie from the local Chinese bakery, with a massive mug of tea ::D:

If we're talking 'made from scratch' baking, I don't know.

But if shoving something frozen and pre-made into an oven counts, the answer to both questions is this chocolate pizza I'm eating right now.

Anything longer than a single DVD, so ~5 hours.

I don't do a whole lot of baking. The last baked item I ate was probably pizza. The last item I baked was probably also pizza. I was going to bake a ham for making sandwiches from, but I bought a pre-cooked one instead.

The last thing I baked was baked French toast on Sunday. Probably going to make dark chocolate chip cookies this week...

Last thing I ate that was baked was a potato, also on Sunday.

I rather enjoy The Great British Baking Show...

...that said, I am rubbish at baking

I don’t *remember. Unlike @malefactus I have an oven, like @malefactus I don’t bake, because I am pretty sure that electrical thing that is hanging at a skewed angle from the ceiling of the oven ought not be doing that. *If I did remember, it would be either pizza or a pot pie.

But proper baking, where I mixed ingredients, stuck the result in an oven, and pulled it out before it burned and ruined ...... :mellow:

I don’t count the bread in the burger I ate yesterday. A baked item, that then becomes an ingredient in something else, ...nah. A proper answer is something that was in an oven, pulled out, allowed to cool just enough, and then I was lucky enough to nosh on it. That would have been:

A Pizza from California Pizza Kitchen. (The restaurant,  not the CPK branded, frozen food product.)
