Question for July 3rd: Any fun stories involving fireworks? If so, share!

Fireworks were illegal here during my childhood so not a lot of experience with them. I've been in Russia a couple times on New Years and it's like a war zone with everybody lighting them off. I have one underwhelming experience with explosives. I forget the name of the explosive right now but you can get it legally here. You mix two powdered components and then shoot it with a rifle to ignite it. We were having a picnic on my farm a couple years ago and somebody brought some. They mixed it up in a small plastic container and then wanted me to shoot it because I'm supposedly the best shot there. I shot at it from about 30 yards, hit the container in the lid just above the explosive. The container shattered and the powder flew everywhere. No boom. Ivanova lied.

Most likely Tannerite or the equivalent.

Recommendation: If you do use Tannerite, do not fill a fridge with it and shoot it:

Pretty much any Mexican population center during pretty much any Mexican holiday is pretty similar.

Tannerite, that's it. We only had 2-3 cups of it and didn't get to see what kind of bang it would give. So no flying fridges on my farm.

Question for Wednesday, July 4th: When was the last time you rebelled?

Rebelling against my mother’s expectations got me all the way to a happy life so I’m gonna keep on going!

Not quite certain since I don't really pay attention to whether something is "appropriate" or not, but probably sometime in the past few days, depending on how it's looked at.  Some would say priming with something other than primer is rebellious, others would say looking at cameras other than the style/format you already have is rebellious (oh wait, that's heresy, small difference :p), others would say getting away with various things at work is rebellious, etc...

Been a while since I've done something that could genuinely get me in trouble though :p

Question for Wednesday, July 4th: When was the last time you rebelled? ...and what was it about; who was it against?

As a multiple, former Quisitor, I feel it worth noting that so far, no one has answered the actual question (black letters) but you have all mostly answered other questions (red letters) which were not actually asked.

Herding you kittens is quite a task. <_<

My answer (to the actual question; and I had to think about it a bit) is: Last Tuesday.
