Dungeons & Doggies Kickstarter

Found Mat Hart's twitter: https://twitter.com/C4RP3R

I guess I have some concerns. First, is that Steamforged is already running a KS campaign for its Critical Role miniatures. Although Steamforged and PP are two different companies, Mat Hart looks to be part of both of them. I prefer for smaller companies to fulfill one project before undergoing another, though, if the two projects can be done simultaneously (eg. casting metal miniatures), then this is less of an issue. Second, is that Steamforged looks to have a negative reputation, as seen on the Critical Role thread.

I've asked PP to include their industry experience on their KS page.

Meh. No thanks

But there's a Beagle Barbarian!

The St Bernard Cleric could make a good pack familiar...

It looks like they already have the sculpts done and molds are in process..  if Mat is a sculptor working for Steamforged, I doubt he has any other additional hands in the production especially since all the Critical Role minis are digitally sculpted..

Exactly, Beagle's are far too sophisticated to pass as barbarians

Those sculpts are fantastic. I'm seriously tempted to back this, even though I promised that the Legends of Signum was my last one for a while :o

Got a reply! : "Hi and yes we will, the short answer is it's a partnership between two of us from the games industry as an indie project. Between us we have worked on and coordinated over 12 kickstarters under other labels."

Material is PVC. Think the funding covers the cost for the molds? I've seen small-scale PVC miniatures projects before, such as a Christmas one.

      About
      Welcome to my Kickstarter!
My name is Mark Norton, and I am working full-time as a sculptor going by the name Frozen Ninja 3D. I am designing and sculpting my own line of highly detailed figures with the hopes of bringing people together for fun hobby times.  Please visit the bottom of this page for examples of my work, and to see the quality I am trying to achieve.
This is the fourth Kickstarter project that I have run, and the third project that features models entirely designed and sculpted by me.
What is being offered in this project?
The goal of this project is to release an entire line of high quality plinths and display stands.  These plinths make any figure or bust stand out among the rest, and will make an exciting addition to any collection.   In addition, these plinths will help bring your competition entries to that next level.
FIRST - MEDIUM SIZE PLINTHS - $12 each, or cheaper if you get a "Bundle" Pledge.
To start the project, I am offering Medium size Plinths.  The top of the Medium plinth is approximately 35mm across, which is ideal for most miniatures, and busts look awesome on them as well.  These plinths are about 44mm Tall, with base sizes ranging from 42mm to 49mm.   Each plinth will be supplied unpainted.
In addition to Medium Size Plinths, I have Large Size Plinths planned as stretch goals, as well as some other fun sizes.
I have a lot of great models planned for this project!  Here is the starting lineup (scroll down further to see the stretch goals that are planned...)
      Add-On List
Here is a list of all of the plinths that are currently available in this Kickstarter project.  I will continue to update this list as stretch goals are reached.
Shipping will be charged separately, please refer to the shipping chart below for rates.
      Stretch Goals
These are the plinths that will be available once we hit certain funding levels.
The First Stretch Goal is titled "Chains".  The Medium Plinth will be unlocked if we can reach $1,800 in funding.  It will be available as an Add-On for $12.

I painted this guy up for D&D to be my Warlock. Sadly it may be some time before he fills that role again. Photos still look a bit washed out. :( The Base should look like floorboards and they do in person.

      Story
      Hello everyone!
This collection of models is all aquatic themed. There are minis, monsters, and scatter terrain. There are 12 models in the cores set, and 18 stretch goals planned. That is up to 30 models with a buy-all price of $6. Times are tough right now, so I wanted to make something affordable that is still just as awesome.
       MODEL OPTIONS
All models come with a no base, simple base, and decorative base option. A $10 pledge gets you all 3 versions in addition to the successfully tested resin pre-supported version.
         THE CORE SET
                              THE STRETCH GOALS
Every $500 is a new mini, monster, or piece of scatter terrain. All mounts will have a saddle and no saddle version. More stretch goals will be added to match the funding level. So feel free to leave comments about what else you'd like to see!

Me personally I'm more or less done with CMON. No way I'm spending more than $1 here, but some of you might be interested or some might find the comment section entertaining.
