Apparently I'm  going to be painting the small sets soon

Stairs and holes (troll &orc)

That still leaves me my track set  my curved track set (good to know, fills some of my need for negative space) and one more core.

Got base coat down on above sets but that's it because of baby who only wanted 15 minute nap.

I understand your pain. My daughter flat out will not let me paint, even if she just started a nap. It's almost like she senses I'm about to paint and wills herself awake.

My guy is generally a good sleeper. I did get to  introduce him to the cats. I should be able to do more tonight

I need to pack stuff up because one of my cats has taken to playing with the brightly colored things.

I've done base coats.

Tomorrow I will drybrush and wash.

After I will do details and call stuff done.

I did base coats for metals and worked wood.

Then tonight I dry brushed.

Today was about washes

Purple in the dirt, different browns for wood and fur, and black for stone. I also put a few random blues, browns and greens in the stone before (base coat primarily gray craft, with drops of yellow/grey/brown primer and brown,blue,black,green,red craft mixed. Drybrush with cream color).

Permanently glue something underneath the thinner tiles..!..problem solved?

 

Materials available around my place include:

-steel fender washers (adds heft as well)

-box cardboard (chipboard)

-matte board (slightly thicker)

-plastic from cup lids (assorted colors)

-signage plastic (corriboard, coroplast)

-corrugated cardboard (last resort)

 

Your scrounged materials will obviously vary.

I'm going to leave them as is. I just thought it was worth noting, seeing as there isn't a lot out there for comparisons. I don't  really have a problem with the difference.

Some details

Fires magma red & lava orange & craft black

"Soup" dragon green, black green, viper green, livery green(vgc)

Skin self flesh

"Paint" magma red.

Vines viper green with heavy medium

Can't really see the scorched metal on the pot

The skull flame on the doorway is a bit bright and I could use some ideas to tone it down. Drybrush?

The cage on the opposite side of the priest's altar doesn't line up very well. It should glue,  though.

 

Not much changed in the forge, but I did do a bit on the chain
