Popular Post Schirf
Haven't had a ton of time to paint this summer but I've managed to get a few things done. I've also been working on my basing. I plan on going back and adding some OSL to Damien but saving that for another day. The Familiar is from GW, cira 1994 and was a fun little guy to paint. C&C welcome and encouraged. Edited August 1, 2018 by Schirf
EvilJames
Really like this guy. It's one of may favorite figures. The Imp is pretty well done as well.
Ducknuck84
Really cool. What colors did you use for the skin?

If I remember correctly, brilliant red, dragon red, ebony flesh over top of a gradient base coat of black, snow shadow, and linen white. Possibly also have some deep or brick red as well. 4 hours ago, Glitterwolf said: Magnificent! Thanks!
Jordan Peacock
Wow. I just can't get over the fine detail to that FACE -- it makes me appreciate the potential with this miniature all the more. It sure makes me wish I had a steady hand and better eyesight. :D Oh, and more patience, of course. Splendid work all around!
Iridil
Very nice job - the red skin tones are really well done, and the black pants look great too. I like how the skin tones on the imp match but the Hellborn has more 'human' eyes then the imp.

Warlady
His face is amazing, and I love the little imp!
dks
Very nice! I like the subtly luminous quality that you achieved in your painting, especially in the skin and the crystal. I also like your choice to pair him with his throwback "Mini-Me" familiar. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. Derek

If I recall correctly, I think with the imp I mixed in a little merigold yellow to make him "glow" more On 7/31/2018 at 12:23 PM, Othikent said: Lovely work! Thanks!
