fulfilling CAV: Strike Ops III Kickstarter September 19th 2018

I am still in at the dropship level +, since the kids will like the tshirt. I would really like some of the wheeld vehicles. Oh well, maybe next KS.

Curious about shipping. How much will US shipping be for just 2 sets of paint? I hope it's not $15 to $25. If that's the case, I'll be dropping my pledge as soon as I can.

So the KS looks to be sitting right about the same point that KS2 was with 5-6 days to go.  I'm guessing that this KS will end up with approx the same amount #2 did - about $60k.

Darn, I was kind of really hoping for those two buggies...  Since the other stuff that really had my interest has been pushed to another one.

Those rates are based on what a core set shipped for last KS. Smaller orders will have smaller shipping.

CAV KICKSTARTER III UPDATE! While I know its Taco Tuesday, you will just have to settle for me unlocking the next stretch goal early!

I know we are only half way there but I have faith we will blow through it on our way to even more models!

That brings the Core Fore Rewards up to 52 models for only $100 (that's less than $2 a model)!

Surprises me that it isn't picking up more at this point. I'm wondering if CAV hit market saturation with the existing models. I know I'm getting nowhere near as many as I did last time.

 

At this point, what I'm interested in is small CAV, dervish/razor or smaller, as well as vehicles.

I think that if you have backed in the past and are looking for models to use for other games or just generic stuff, then yes I doubt you need 50+ more CAVs with the hundred+ you already have. For players, both old and new, there is still plenty here to interest you. Mechs are a niche of a niche and we just need to get the word out to people who haven't seen this yet and it's hard within the confines of what's available to do that with a smaller company/campaign. I'm proud of where we have gotten so far, there are very few non-board game sci-fi KS's that get above $10k let alone $40k.

Super excited by the new terrain add on.  Was bummed when the terrain was pulled earlier, since I have nearly no 10 mm terrain. But the new add on is massive and awesome.  I'm gonna need a couple of those....

CAV KICKSTARTER III UPDATE: Terrain Expansion Set

As we march into the final three days of the KS, I wanted to cap off the campaign with something spectacular (at least in my opinion)...

So, with that in mind, I give you the Terrain Expansion Set! Containing over 100 model pieces, the Terrain Expansion Set provides a wide array of unique pieces to use across the battlefield. While designed with CAV in mind (and in 10mm scale), the Terrain Expansion Set can be used for a variety of games and scales!!!

Yeaaaaah, I'm rather excited about it too, to say the least.  I can't type what I said when I saw the announcement, but let's just say it was really really, happy and positive.

 

Unknown if I'd be able to pledge for it before kickstarter ends, will this be available in pledge manager?

Thanks for the terrain set addon.  Really happy this made it in.

 

Now that I think about it, CAV:SO does let you take the stuff like bunkers with turrets on top. This will be fun.
