07001, Rictus the Undying

Here's 07001, Rictus the Undying from Reaper's Dungeon Dwellers Special Edition Figures sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I'm curently running "The Vanishing Blackguard" adventure so get ready to see a load of painted models in the next couple of weeks. Sir Rictur is the main evil character in "The Vanishing Blackguard" adventure for 4-6 characters of levels 3-5 by Joseph C. Wolf. What colors did you use for the actual bone parts?

Many colors, I usually start with a 09272 Graveyard Bone or 09275 Vampiric Skin or 09435 Skeleton Bone basecoat. I apply a brown wash then highlight with 09273 Splintered Bone. I finish by adding 09031 Tanned Leather or other color highlight to contrast with the color of the armor or surrounding colors.

 

The 09791, Neutral Bone Colors is a perfect starter kit. The 09792, Vampiric Skintones Colors can also do a great job for skeleton. On skeletons, the wash is essential to help create the shadows.

 

On Rictus, I repainted the teeth with a glase of 09273 Splintered Bone after applying the yellowish highlight on the skull.

The Deadite Knight is a WONDERFUL creation. The aged armor  has a WONDERFUL eroded look to it. VERY WELL DONE!
