Leech
In the current Casket Works, it lists a SyRaM Warhawk (07066) as something due for release soon and I was wondering what this is cos I've never heard of a Warhawk.
Chrome
Isn't that the Templar's Starhawk variant w/the Gauss Cannon on one arm? Its in the JoR.
Leech
Ah, yeah I remember... but theres gonna be a model of it??
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted November 20, 2002 Moderator Share Posted November 20, 2002 Frank, which Casket Works is this? I've got #10, and I don't see the Warhawk listed.
Leech
The latest one, with the scantily clad female something in a (heavily) modified santa suit on the front. The reference is in the box that gives item numbers and names of some of the future releases - it clearly lists 07066 SyRaM Warhawk. I know it clearly says that because I asked my mum and nephew to confirm I wasn't seeing things again (I really hate when that happens) :o)
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted November 20, 2002 Moderator Share Posted November 20, 2002 Weird, it wasn't there the first time I looked. Yeah, I'd guess there'll be a model of it. That'll be cool.
Leech
Guys, I don't have my Holy Tome, er I mean my JoR with me. Does the piece mention which gauss cannon the Warhawk mounts - cos the only GC SyRaM makes (that I can remember) is the one mounted on the Falcon. Which would mean that the Falcon will be released soon too :o) *Jumps for joy* Thing is, if the Warhawk is a factory refit of the Starhawk then we won't have to pay the 20% cost for a field refit - like the Dictator with Gkw14's. Right? :o) Which means Chrome has more work to do on the AB files and we'll need another data card :o)

Leech
No, if it's the same UCOR then you pay an extra 20% and if another UCOR then you pay an additional 50%. However, the special edition Dictators that we give away as tournament prizes don't pay this cost (on the Dictators) because it's a factory refit done by Koda Works themselves and not by a unit's technicians. It is because the GKW14 was designed for the dictator chassis and that is why you do not have to pay the extra 20%
Jeremy
Way back when I posted my conversion for this model that I made, Questor said that they had him sculpt and alternate arm IIRC. Frank in the fluff it is called the Diedre Mk II IIRC. I know its Diedre MK something.
Leech
Yeah, and the 'Warhawk' is armed with a Lance MK I gauss cannon. Guess we'll see :o)
Jeremy
I like the way rthat my conversion looks, so I can only imagine how good it will look when a pro does it!

Gobbo
Frank, which Casket Works is this? †I've got #10, and I don't see the Warhawk listed. How do I get on the automatic mailing list to recive these? I can't get them on time, by the time my FLGS gets them in everyone is talking about the next issue. I just got #9 yesterday!
