Wednesday, September 5: Tell us about a time something started out badly for you, but ended well.

Most recent would be losing my job; I have a new job now, and it is one that I vastly prefer and am very happy with.

Thursday, September 6:

What is the funniest actual name you've heard of someone having?

I've known a few:

Justin Tyme

Candace Kane. (nick-name candy)

Friday, September 7: Who was your craziest/most interesting teacher?

Sorry, but there weren't really any standouts to mention here.

Oof. Sorry I'm late; fell asleep.

Saturday, September 8: When you are old, what do you think children will ask you to tell stories about?

They'd better NOT try asking me about dinosaurs!

*When* I'm old? (Woohoo, I'm a youthful 47 year old!)

In the days of old, TV viewing felt worthwhile, even if screens were less 20 inches or less. Saturday morning cartoons were a sacred tradition. After that, we went outside without risking cancer causing sunburns, only regular sunburns. No Internet yet, so paper books and magazines were our sources of information. If you had an electronic toy, it would go through batteries like you wouldn't believe. When you had a hobby, you committed to it!

Yes you are young whippersnapper.  What electronic toys?  Saturdays did not have cartoons until I was older.  I can almost remember getting a TV.  I do remember the first color TV.

Had my oldest ask me if we had colour tv when I was a kid. I was born in '74.

Sunday, September 9: What is something that will always be in fashion, no matter how much time passes?

Don't know if I've ever been in fashion so I'm not qualified to answer this.

Purple paint. Duuuuhhhhh. ^_^

I was going to say painting minis, but Cyradis beat me to such an answer.  Hmmmmm.....

...So instead I'll say mohawks and "bondage" styled pants (think Tripp NYC).  And dancing "like a fool" in the view of outsiders, whom I don't care about their opinions because I'm having a good time!

Spoiler

Man I miss my mohawk.  Stupid corporate work environment not allowing 6" hot neon pink mohawks no matter how awesome they are on you....

I’ve been known to start telling credulous younglings about my pet brontosaurus ...and how much I miss him. Snif. ::(:

Hats ...nope.

Neckties ...nope.

Miniskirts ...nope?

Shoes ...I predict Nope.

Belts ...not even belts.

Leggin’s ...rather hoping not.

Fashion is by definition ephemeral and fleeting.

Gold jewelry/bling is perhaps an exception; it’s on a 7000 year and counting streak but at some point I think even the basic gold necklace disappears.
