buglips*the*goblin
I rely on an interdimensional pocket known as The Oops. When I need to get a lot of loot back, first I gather it all up in a box. Then I undertake a perilous journey, trying to avoid highwaymen or bandits. I seek The Scanner. Fortunately, The Oops has many dwellings in the wild, so finding The Scanner is easy. I hand my box to them, give some gold, and The Oops does its magic. Often the loot gets home before I do. Overall I like The Oops. Much more than The Feddix.
LittleBluberry
I think I have a problem with painting stuff specifically for RCon. The anxiety sets in and I struggle to get anywhere with it. Hoping I can either push through or let it go.... 1

Hey it's better than me, I struggle to paint anything I start and go ew and can never decide which techniques I want to use or stick with for a piece and end up just jumping around from mini to mini never actually finishing anything Edited August 25, 2019 by Crimson_king_of_the_tower

Inarah
Today was supposed to be the day to do all the laundry and start packing. Instead it became the day to call the washer repair company and silently do a lot of swearing.
Keianna
Oh, yeah. Laundry. I need to do that. And maybe a nap

Cranky Dog
Today's update: Main entry is DONE! (or at least presentable) Being a diorama (more of a vignette in my book), I spent the day assembling the base until it was satisfactory. It looks a bit plain, but considering this is the absolute first time in my life I've ever done basing, I'm surprised it's this good. Technically, I could've done more work on the side projects today, but considering today is my birthday, I've gotten several "interruptions" from friends and family. Also had to go and lunches for the next two work days and empty the fridge.
Reaper User ReaperWolf Posted August 26, 2019 Reaper User Share Posted August 26, 2019 I'll be done with the pregens (all 42 of them!!!) in an hour or so. As usual I'm not messing with gear and spells, players can sort that out themselves while we play. Three nights to go and I'm off. So many minis to paint... >>ReaperWolf

Paint it Pink - Done, except for the base Painters entries 1+2 - Done? I think done... Bombshell - Done-ish. Honestly like... 95% done, but stuck. Gonna work on this at the con after getting some help. Diorama - A mold line? Really? How did I not see that??? ARG!!! Okay, okay, we can handle that... I am finally free of that onus. I am painting for fun and going to see people and have fun. Stress has been removed. Good luck to everyone!

Doug Sundseth
Class minis are prepped*. Example paint is done and the base sculpted. (Translucent teal is ... not ideal for variety. But restrictions make for creativity, so I got creative. I think the example has at least most of the things I want to talk about.) Still need to paint the base once the putty sets, but that should be pretty quick. (Yes, I sculpted a base, which was arguably silly. I have higher priorities to deal with. But we do this for fun and that made it more fun for me.) Class notes for one class done. Class notes for second class at about 80%. Probably 1-2 hours of writing left. Packing has been considered, but not started. I might have a real entry to the painting contest, but we'll see how that goes. (I'll probably enter an Ed sculpt and an ordnance mini that I painted a while ago, but those are kind of not real entries.) Still need to change oil on the car and fill up with gas by Tuesday afternoon. Excitement level: Rising. * This was harder than it should have been: I was late ordering minis. Reaper is almost entirely out of translucents, so I had to talk to Ron to get help finding something that would work. The package was reported as "delivered in the mailbox" on Thursday, but didn't show up. Finally showed up on Friday in a box that was three times the size of the mailbox. This is what we call "challenges".
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted August 26, 2019 Moderator Share Posted August 26, 2019 Request from a non-goer. In the past Reaper has had upcoming kickstarter minis and greens on display at Reapercon. Please take pics of what you see from as many angles as possible. Thanks!
