Didn’t forget anything, wife wanted me to leave out after tonight’s scout meeting. They forgot I wasn’t going to be there tonight. Gonna be leaving stupid early in the morning. Debating on driving straight through, or take the scenic route and arrive Wednesday in the late afternoon. Hey Wednesday evening is when the best stuff starts anyway and scenic is always nicer, depends on how much pool time you want I spose!
EvilCleric
I'm curious, how many attendees are there each day at ReaperCon? EC

They mentioned it last year, but I don’t recall the exact number. I do believe it was between 500 and 1,000, and I want to say it was around 600-650. But that was people with admission tickets, not there at any single time.

I don't remember seeing any official numbers, but it's generally recognized that Saturday is the peak in attendance. So 1000+ in a single day is conceivable. But between people sitting in games; classes; single day attendees; full four days attendees; staying at the hotel or living nearby; etc. it can be hard to estimate how many people are present at any one time. We just know that it's been steadily growing in reputation.

EC IIRC, last year total uniques was something like 1100+ for the con as a whole. Saturday is always the biggest day at every gaming con I've ever been to, so I would expect nearly all of those to be there on Saturday. Fewer on the other days, but because it's a big travel con, the majority of attendees are there on full-con (4-day) passes.

Probably more discussion in the thread, but this should be important information for all attendees no? Is this posted somewhere? Luckily majority of us have a smartphone, but this will be a headache for those without.

I think it will be a headache for everybody that doesn’t have the notice that they need the QR, regardless of tech they have in hand. 3

It's in the order confirmation emails that were sent out to everyone who bought a badge, classes, or extra swag bags. This QR code is tied to your order and contains all of the products that you purchased. You will need to show the QR code below when you check-in at the event. If your admission products are going to be shipped - you will recieve your credentials by mail and will not need to bring your QR code to the show to gain admission. Reading email is so passe these days, I'm sure many people missed that. 2
Pegazus
And I think it was in last year’s email too, but can’t recall if it was necessary or not. Problem is it looks like fine print, and nobody reads that.
Highlander
I got two codes. One for registering for the convention and one for my classes. I suppose I need both. I just finished my entry. Because, of course, I debated doing one more thing. My mind told me "No, no. Don't"; my enthusiasm said, "Go for it." I went for it. And spent the next three hours fixing it. Mostly. Sort of. Edited August 26, 2019 by Highlander
rawlkeer
QR number?! You mean the print-outs with the weird scan blocks isn't good enough? Good to know that now, since I am getting on the road in the morning. I have a huge stack of stuff I have printed, but not seeing anything with a QR number on it. Got to look again. Nice to know that people putting out information take it for granted that everyone watches Reaper live :( Just looked back through my emails. Is this QR number coming from growtix? Not seeing it anywhere. really not happy about this
Sirithiliel
i have screenshotted the QR codes onto my phone so i can quickly pull them up at the Con. Just in case my connection is spotty when trying to access my email itself, so having them in the images makes it easier on me
buglips*the*goblin
I think I only printed my class ticket, so I'll have to QR my VIP on my phone. It's listed as two different orders so I though choosing print one code for all products combined everything. But maybe... not ? I dunno. I just know I hate this growtix system because every step of it is a confusing uphill fight. 1
EvilCleric
Do we need to print our tickets? Or do they do that at registration? Confused, EC
