Lord of the Dish Pit

77161 Ghost King

Recommended Posts

This one took me a bit longer than I expected and I wasn't sure about how the spectral blue, purple, and green/white would play together, but they seem to work. Judging by his style of armor I suspect that in life he was some manner of elf.

(and I can see here where I need to fix some blending, but I'm not too worried about it.)

Well Done !!!!!!!!!!

Nice choice of colors, and blending !

Brings back many memories from when I painted this figure.

Quite the blending challenge !

The last ornament! This one a little more ambitious; a vignette showing perhaps an aspect of the Winter Solstice. The spirit of cold and death being checked. The days are getting longer again now.

Here's the Ghost King, in shades of Ice Blue, Toxic Mist, Dark Sky, and Oozing Purple (w/Ushabti Bone).

      And our heavenly host!

Very simple, lazy even...but he’s ghostly enough for a session

Bones Ghost King.  WIP thread is here:  WIP
Another one rescued from my shelf of shame (leaving 28). He has a very twisted body that couldn't be fully realigned, even after heating him in boiling water which is why he has the weird base. He's just attached to it so he will stay level while the pictures are taken.
I'm trying to improve my blending and lighting effects so any criticism would be appreciated.
