Assigned a dangerous quarry by the Hunter’s Lodge, players choose a tribe and class for their hunter and embark on an adventure through the wilds. A variety of machines and unexpected events lurk along the way, and awaiting them at the end of the trail is a lethal boss fight.

Combining innovative and dynamic game mechanics with strategic deck building, Horizon Zero Dawn™: The Board Game offers players a unique experience on each playthrough. Hunters can develop along several skill paths and purchase a wide variety of ammunition and equipment from merchants, as well as facing entirely different encounters each time.

Keep in mind that they still haven't fulfilled (fully or at all) the following projects:  Dark Souls, Resident Evil, and God Tear.  RE and God Tear haven't even started, and now they added another to their plate.  Just a FYI.

As to "just the minis."  I understand what you mean, but I personally don't want to promote the behavior of a crappy, underdeveloped game for the sake of minis.  The game needs work from what they have shown me, and they are banking on the minis. If it is described as a boardgame, the GAME should be the most important part.

I just don't get this one. There are dinosaurs and cavemen but the dinosaurs are robots and the cavemen aren't really cavemen and it just doesn't make much sense.

runaway robot apocalypse destroyed society leaving tribal survivors and self assembling machines with animal like AI.

I like the look of the robots, but I don't need or want anywhere near the numbers in this game

And the dog one but if you think that's bad there are some other companies just as deep.

The main difference is that Hall or Nothing tend to give better updates & communication so their backers all know what's going on.9c3deb227ead24a0aa2827b9670c7003_original.thumb.jpg.5973ef7d9a4392b3fbbcbdfac8b93590.jpg
