Brutus is a Boxer, a German Breed.

So yes, a digger..

In our current garden he has three spots under bushes where the ground disappeared in a mysterious way to make room for him.

He doesn't dig his way under a fence though, only to create a comfy spot.

 

( a bit of a pun here because many German tourists who visit the Dutch beaches tend to dig holes to sit in..)

Do they fill them back in, once they are done visiting the beach?   (Like Golfers do after they hit a shot out of a sand trap.)

They don't refill, not a WWII reference, it's holiday behaviour.

We just picked up Brutus from the Doggy Hotel he was staying in due to the moving.

Brutus made a new friend today.

Her name is Sjaan and she's a 9 yr old Boxer.

Well since we removed the pond and the tree and haven't planted new vegetation yet, there's a lot of sand in the first part of the garden.

Our friend here decided to have a little fun in the sand.
