@Tripleh5133 Bandit looks like good company! I like his face!

@Orlando_the_Technicoloured Nice cats, Tommy looks like he needs a belly rub right now!

@malefactus Brutus knows how to hang...Oldest Vixen was cuddling on the couch with him and left him like this. I had to take a pic. Sorry for the blurriness but I needed to act fast.

He might just wake up and walk away..

I had dogs growing up. first my dad's dog, Fuzzy, and then my own, Browny. Now I'm celebrating my first month with my first cat! Her name is Nightshade and she is around 10-12 years old. A friend of mine had her before me but after a change in job, he isn't home enough to be fair to her. He is now a Bigrig Truck driver and is only home 2-3 day every two weeks or so.

Here she is using the old lift chair I usually play console video games in.

And here she is on top of my bed sheets for a change! She prefers to sleep under them or in between them some where.

I was never much of a cat person until I met my wife....now we have 5.

alex.thumb.jpg.accc04aab7286f6f48dbe64bd6dea66c.jpg

Alex was one of the first two we got. She's a bit cranky at times and quite contrary.  She was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism so now gets really expensive tasty tuna chews (her medication) twice a day.

She's into her mid teens.

gloria.jpg.7199dba511d3e24190b2bde0a84eb75a.jpg

This is Gloria, although we usually call her Tootsie. (yes, when the kids were younger they were big Madagascar fans).

She was the third cat we got., so is probably 10 or so (my wife remembers that stuff, me not so much).

Her and Alex have never gotten along.  With the addition of the two boys (see below) she started behaving oddly and has since been diagnosed with anxiety issues.  So she now has her own private luxury apartment on the top floor (the guest bedroom) all to herself. She comes out once in a while for a few minutes to interact with the other cats, but generally heads back for her room pretty quick. She seem happy there.

mel.jpg.ceb8c6e471f2a12e24c048d21fbf4883.jpg

This is Mel (yes, short for Melman). She was the fourth one we got.  She's probably close to the same age as Tootsie. She's staked out her territory (two closets and the 2nd floor bathroom) as her personal domain.  She allows the boys to visit until they tick her off.

Alex has been attempting to claim the recliner on the edge of her realm lately which has lead to some skirmishes.  There seems to be a tentative truce at the moment.

After Marty passed (see below) 2 years ago, my wife said we'd never have 4 cats again. Then, when the oldest was home visiting from out West, they went to visit one of the boy's aunts. Next thing I know I'm being bombarded with pics of kittens.  I reminded her of what she'd said, but she replied with "5 isn't 4" :upside:...I'd walked right into that one.

So that's when we got the boys.

tommy.jpg.a2d291e4cba92d36c2af0442455c80cb.jpg

Tommy (finally no more Madagascar, but they wouldn't go with my suggestion of naming them after GoT dragons) and

timmy.thumb.jpg.4c4ad761b9ac86c1968d54a1f05d9ee2.jpg

Timmy.  Tommy is the bigger brother, and tries to be the boss, although the ladies usually just ignore him.  Timmy is a fair bit smaller and generally follows Tommy's lead.

They are about and year and a half old now and are both far too energetic, at least according to the other cats.

Last we have a picture of Marty, who left us two years ago.

We got her the same day as Alex, when my wife couldn't decide between them (I'd agreed to try 1 cat).

We had to say goodbye to her after she suffered from liver failure.

My least favorite Sammy trick, he lies there in classic "Rub ma belly! Rub ma belly!" pose and then *FAAARRT* when you are bent over him rubbing his belly. :zombie:

Pretty sure it's because his belly is being rubbed.

And may very well be why he wants his belly rubbed. He's feeling a bit bloated and, well.... :zombie:

Here's a couple of pictures of Falazure being extra cute:

And here's one after my cat was particularly bad (darned if I remember what she did, probably had to do with stealing food). She was unhappy that morning, then needy and clingy in the afternoon.

It appears that M.E.O.W. is taking over this thread.

Will they never stop in their vile attempts to subjugate the world?

We need more W.O.O.F. pics to help combat this. R.I.B.B.I.T. has even been noticeably missing.

If it helps, both my cats are too dumb to take over anything. They can't even properly mind control us. Just last night Falazure was trying his darnedest to mind control me into giving him bacon, but it just didn't work.

So you're safe safe from my cats. As long as you don't get within fart range.

So.....you've been training them in biological warfare.

As every night, last night I wanted to take Brutus out for his pre -sleep walk.

And okay, it always takes a while because he's just comfy at that moment.

Last night it was even worse, it took him forever to get up for his walk.

I asked oldest Vixen if she knew why he didn't wanna go.

She had no idea.
