Rainbow Sculptor

Adventuring Alice

Recommended Posts

Got home today and did a higher quality print.  It's still not the best possible, but we are experimenting with just how high the resolution needs to be.  This level is most certainly high enough for a test print.   Honestly it's probably high enough to cast, but we won't know until it cures and we try.   We are at a point where the printer will need to be placed somewhere that people walking by doesn't shake it at all, if we want to go up from here.

Here are a couple showing the supports.

We will post some pictures of her with primer, after we let this one fully cure.

In other news, Christie finished the base, and should be posting some WIP pictures soon.  Hopefully that will be printed out by tomorrow night, completing the figure!

I've been hard at work on Alice's base. Just need to finish her little cat Dinah then go through the process of getting it print ready unless you guys see anything that I missed. Hoping to have everything said and done soon!

Awww yeah! I love the War Flamingo on the rose knight.

Yeah, I really loved designing it and sculpting it! Izzy said it was her favorite part of that character design so that always makes my day :)

I know it is a zBrush thing, but I can't help thinking that they will be all the same height from that picture.  Do you have a picture with them in scale with each other?  I'm presuming that Alice is fairly short and the hatter and cat are tall.  Yes?

Yeah, for my other set I sized them all according to each other in the final image and I should've done it with these also. Obviously being a digital file I can print these at any scale I want but this is currently how they are printed and sized.

Speaking of printing....we have all of these printed and post processed but the Cheshire print failed (he's missing half of his face atm) and I went back and did some touch ups to Alice so she'll need to be reprinted as well. Just in case you guys were curious here's a bonus pic of the currently printed models.
