I was in on the Chibi project they did earlier this year and it was delivered on-time and the quality was good.  This looks like an interesting assortment of figures, including good deals on  bunch of Heartbreaker stuff!

Their synopsis:

Not All Minis go to Heaven

Impact! believes that lost and forgotten or unmade miniatures shouldn't stay lost to the hard drive abyss they've been relegated to.

Whether they were from discontinued lines, failed or undelivered projects we think they deserve to be resurected, brought into the light, and that's why this project is dedicated that end.

Today we give you a chance to get minis that are either no longer available, or never made it the light of day.

Over the past year Impact! has reached out to different Kickstarter Creators whose lines of miniatures failed to fund, were never got delivered or finished, or simply were discontinued after an initial printing run.

We've licensed or outright purchased everything shown in this project and now all that is left raise the capital for molds and materials and bring these amazing miniatures to backers to you, your friends, and your families and for gamers on tables everywhere!

That... is kinda awesome!

Spreading word, thanks!

I backed Impact! for the Kev Adams goblins - and was extremely happy with the models.

Plus - the Torn Armor minis will finally see the light of day!

The Auld Grump - the question is not whether we will be backing, the question is going to be how deep.

I spotted the Torn Armour figures immediately. They were the first thing I thought of when I read the opening pitch.

I backed his Heartbreaker Armies Kickstarter and was very critical and wary because he used the same company that did the Raging Heroes minis (which to me were totally unacceptable). So he reached out to me and guaranteed money back if I was not satisfied.  I still only backed for a small amount and when the minis arrived I wished I had backed for way more. They were very, very nice (awesome considering the price point). I was missing a tiny part and two hours after telling Impact about that, I had a tracking number for that part. Awesome service, very nice guy and I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the minis. I will back this here - just don't know how much I can afford yet.

As a Torn Armor backer, I appreciate the sentiment. I backed for the $2. Will at least get those Vanara!!! Though the thing I wanted them for ended in 2013... or 14? Don't even remember now.

Splintered stories. 7 for $14 or 1 for $7... [p]such a difficult choice[/p]

Or was there something wrong with spincast. Cannot remember.

The Splintered stories minis were Not Torn armor produced but were licensed torn armor minis done by another company. Not sure I need them but the little blind axe red riding hood child is interesting...

Hmmm, I coulda sworn that there used to be a thread on these forums for the Torn Armor Kickstarter - I was going to nudge it with the info from this Kickstarter.

Oh. I like impact. They have been courteous, professional, and great to work with. I couldn't remember if the spincast was a problem or not. Ah well. A few of those sets are cheap enough to justify the risk.

I have the spincast goblins from last year - most assuredly not a problem.

I was incredibly impressed with it. Clear detail, near HIP in regards to hardness. It is a plus, not a minus. ::):

One mini had a slight miscast - and I could have gotten a replacement, but I turned it down. (Right here on these forums. ::P: ) It was an easy fix.

They were extremely courteous, and I will be happy to back this as well.

If they had gotten the renders from Drake II I'd be in trouble..

I do not know how ... but I JUST found out about Drake and Drake II 3 days ago.  Too late for me to try and get them included in this project.  So we'll see how this project does and use it after I have the backers delivered as a proof of concept and approach them for a sequel project.   Have a few new suggestions since this launched of companies to reach out to that might be interested in similar arrangements.   So yes ... a bullet dodged for you ... (for now ... muh ha ha ha ha!)   ;-)

Wonder how the Hwacha bolts will stand up in resin.

So the supports LOOK like it will print fine ... but I plan on printing one over the next couple days just to make sure it prints okay!   I'll let you know the results!
