They're being lame on the exclusives, but meh. Figures are gorgeous. Cost though.... *pouts*

Pretty sure this is what they charged for the Naughty Gears busts as well?  I've slept since that one so I could be wrong....

Oh, the cost is reasonable. Still is money spent. It is same as it was for Heroes of the Fallen Frontiers too. I'll probably end up going in... but not today, even if it means missing a discount code (discount code = me spending more than that later).

You guys had me worried because I thought the price was quite reasonable.  Especially with free shipping.  Also looks like there is a potential to add a couple free figures through the SGs.

I'm in for 1 right now, probably will move up to 2 but I just have to figure out which ones I want.

Sounds like they will add some paint add-on options in the PM.

Oh yeah, they're definitely reasonably priced, it's just... Having the money, lol

Edit: how large are the busts anyways?  I didn't see mention of sizing other than 1:12 scale.

Just be aware that they HAVE charged shipping for paint in the previous Kickstarters.

Here's a pic with the Greebo YUGE Grandma Wolf bust, a Young Miniatures 1/10 one, and then a Scale 75 from the Naughty Gears KS:

Ah, many thanks for the size comparison.  Just over 2" eh?  I'll have to think whether I'm wanting to get into busts or not. ^_^

Thanks for the size comparison!

I got the notice this went live just as I was walking onto a plane.  Logged in and backed for 1 bust.  Now to go sort through everything to see if I want to change that.

This is where I am at.  If I do increase my pledge though it will be for 4 busts, it's like buy 3 get 1 free plus a few free 35mm figures.

I really like the archer. I may have to back this one. The "Grudge" bust I have half-painted is lonely & needs company. ::D:

I'm very tempted but cautious. According to the FAQ everything will be in resin. Most of the 35mm figures and 75mm figs already exist in metal. The plastic versions of the 75mm figures that they produced for Duel Fighters were in plastic but with weapons & shields in metal.

I'd love it to all be in resin. I don't mind if some elements will be in metal. I just don't want backers to be disappointed later if it turns out that some things won't be in the material that's promised.

My assumption is that the new stuff (busts) will be in resin, while the already existing figures will be in metal. I actually hadn't seen the mention that everything would be resin.

      About
      Welcome to my Kickstarter!
My name is Mark Norton, and I am working full-time as a sculptor going by the name Frozen Ninja 3D. I am designing and sculpting my own line of highly detailed figures with the hopes of bringing people together for fun hobby times.  Please visit the bottom of this page for examples of my work, and to see the quality I am trying to achieve.
This is the fourth Kickstarter project that I have run, and the third project that features models entirely designed and sculpted by me.
What is being offered in this project?
The goal of this project is to release an entire line of high quality plinths and display stands.  These plinths make any figure or bust stand out among the rest, and will make an exciting addition to any collection.   In addition, these plinths will help bring your competition entries to that next level.
FIRST - MEDIUM SIZE PLINTHS - $12 each, or cheaper if you get a "Bundle" Pledge.
To start the project, I am offering Medium size Plinths.  The top of the Medium plinth is approximately 35mm across, which is ideal for most miniatures, and busts look awesome on them as well.  These plinths are about 44mm Tall, with base sizes ranging from 42mm to 49mm.   Each plinth will be supplied unpainted.
In addition to Medium Size Plinths, I have Large Size Plinths planned as stretch goals, as well as some other fun sizes.
I have a lot of great models planned for this project!  Here is the starting lineup (scroll down further to see the stretch goals that are planned...)
      Add-On List
Here is a list of all of the plinths that are currently available in this Kickstarter project.  I will continue to update this list as stretch goals are reached.
Shipping will be charged separately, please refer to the shipping chart below for rates.
      Stretch Goals
These are the plinths that will be available once we hit certain funding levels.
The First Stretch Goal is titled "Chains".  The Medium Plinth will be unlocked if we can reach $1,800 in funding.  It will be available as an Add-On for $12.

      Story
      Hello everyone!
This collection of models is all aquatic themed. There are minis, monsters, and scatter terrain. There are 12 models in the cores set, and 18 stretch goals planned. That is up to 30 models with a buy-all price of $6. Times are tough right now, so I wanted to make something affordable that is still just as awesome.
       MODEL OPTIONS
All models come with a no base, simple base, and decorative base option. A $10 pledge gets you all 3 versions in addition to the successfully tested resin pre-supported version.
         THE CORE SET
                              THE STRETCH GOALS
Every $500 is a new mini, monster, or piece of scatter terrain. All mounts will have a saddle and no saddle version. More stretch goals will be added to match the funding level. So feel free to leave comments about what else you'd like to see!

Me personally I'm more or less done with CMON. No way I'm spending more than $1 here, but some of you might be interested or some might find the comment section entertaining.
