I just backed the new KS for $1 to get access to the Add Ons since I only would like the printed miniatures.

Will keep an eye on those prices though.

 

It looks like I was somewhere in the range of $5.00-$5.50  per point, so that mini was $20-22 for me. The previous campaign structure has been more efficient to go in at higher counts, but getting the minis at under the KS image pricing is a decent deal.

Reason I ask, I have seen the Seasscorpion and those minis available in the German Webshop for months already!

If that's the case I won't even back, and wait for retail.

I was given the option to have things sent months ago and opted to wait because of a couple of casting problems with a couple of the minis. Instead of just waiting on those few minis I chose to hold off on the whole shipment.

Ah ok then, I was almost under the impression that the webstore got to sell this before backers got their stuff!

Glad I could clarify. I have been impressed with Antimatter Games over the years. I wish that DeepWars and ShadowSea would take off near me so I could actually get some games in.

I have received a padded envelope with what should be the rest of the items.  I also have a message through KS requesting $15 to cover shipping for both packages, which seems the wrong order to do things in.

Good to hear things are starting to move again.

I'm waiting until the end of January, and if there still hasn't been any progress on mine, I'm going to enquire about getting a refund instead.

I received my stuff last month, including a boxed starter set. I’m pretty sure the books and other materials are the things slowing this KS down (based on what I got, the minis must be done) - it was a pretty ambitious amount of written content.

 

I love the setting and the minis (and terrain), and I even enjoy the gameplay (not surprising as I am a fan of SoBH), but I’d like to see a new game-system at some point - one that can better handle the complexities of some of the game features that have been added. Sill good stuff though. 

 

I did miss out on the 3D files KS because of late fulfillment, so I am bumming about that. I’d like to print up the stuff to represent all pieces of the box set.

Got all the books this morning (at least I think I did, I appear to be missing all the cards and map tiles for the dungeon crawler thing, but they might be coming with the minis).

 

Minis have been stuck in Miami all week though.

Just wanted to say though, that I've been rather huffy in this thread and this project really didn't deserve that. It's not the first Kickstarter I've backed that has had delays and communication issues, and it won't be the last.

 

Going through my stuff today, it's clear that a lot of time and effort has gone in to things.
