October's Mushrooms & Goblins & Faeries...Oh My!

Another month another batch of Mushrooms & Associates. This month is a bit lighter than last. I started it toward the end of last month's Gang...which is still waiting on some Show Off photos. 

I am also hoping to squeeze in some Pumpkinheads & other Halloween strangeness elsewhere. More of that later. For now, The Mushrooms:

 

With the ever popular Leo Sizechek for comparison:

 

I got the idea to do a Mushroom/Goblin Wizard from this illustration:

 

Mine is a bit seedier:

 

A Goblin Faerie sidekick seemed appropriate. Appropriate or not I wanted to try out some paper punch butterfly wings with a foam coating inner layer:

 

AND base coated & ready for color:

Love these little guys, gobs and shrooms both! So expressive, so weird, as fairytale creatures should be.

...only Timothy O'Leary advocated Goblin produce...OH WOW, the colors, Man.

Thanks for the poem & the reply, Rigel. I am happy you like the stuff. There is a distinct possibility that I may be a Fairy Tale character...if the description fits, you are it.

This one has experimental wings. I love the ones I have gotten from Reaper, but only two of the four types are usable with the Goblins.

If the new ones work out, that will give me more & less expensive options.

Thanks for the kind reply, Marineal. I am delighted that they make you happy. That is the reaction I try for. I do have some Folk who get nightmares from them.

If you spot any that really have a particularly cheering effect, PM me & I will send him/her/them/whatever to you...it is my version of a joyful sound.

Thanks, Glitter. In person he looks less poisonous, but still a bit psychedelic. The colors are slightly off in the photo.

I would imagine that a meeting with a sentient Mushroom his size would be a mind altering experience at the least.
