Dragonborn Sorcerer miniature

aHey there,

one of my players is looking to reroll to a male Dragonborn Sorcerer, and I'm having trouble finding a fitting miniature. The Wizkids ones are all martial types for some reason.

Personally I quite like T'kay  http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/t'kay/latest/14096

but I also found Kasham and Pakpao

T'kay doesn't have the little sizing triangles, but he does look quite imposing. Does someone own this miniature and can tell me/post a picture of how tall he is, compared to a mordern humanoid miniature?

Similarly, Pakpao seems a bit puny to be a Dragonborn to me (looks more like a lizard person to me), but the player in question quite likes him. How big is that one compared to other humanoids?

And if anyone has tipps on other Dragonborn miniatures, please feel free to tell me, the selection I have come up with so far has been rather limited.

Each mini you have on there is human sized but a bit bulky. They would work for a dragonborn. Well, minus the tails of course. ::D:

About the only other options that I know right now are prepainted figures & there isn't many of them.

Yeah, prepainted there was a "Dragonborn Elementalist" released before, and it seems the new Waterdeep Dragon Heist prepainted sets have a Dragonborn Draconic Sorcerer in the assortment.

IIRC the elementalist also came unpainted in one of the D&D board games.....

No idea the aftermarket price on any of those.

The prepainted version is spendy. It's a nice mini but if your looking for one to paint the board game one is the way to go. Various ebay sellers break apart the bits to sell.

I've got one of the new Dragon Heist minis coming this week, I'll post a pic when I get it. There is actually 2 but they are the same sculpt just a different paint & hand (one casting, one has a wand)

I've got copies of both Prepainted variants. I can take a picture and post it, if you want. Let me know.

Thanks for all of your recommendations!

I have been looking for those prepaints, but the shipping is ridiculous (or they are sold from within Europe and already expensive).

Heroforge is definetly something I have been messing with in the past, and this would be a good character to use it on, as good DB minis are so rare. But again, it's kinda out of my comfort zone in terms of pricing + shipping, especially because I heard of them breaking (and we sometimes have a cat jumping into the fray, so minis might get knocked over).

A miniature I want to add, in case anyone ever digs up this thread looking for a Dragonborn Sorcerer as well: Oathsworn has one in their Sensible Shoes line. Wasn't thinking about them, since I was looking for a male miniature, but this one doesn't have any visible female characteristics, so it should work for both.

I think I'm gonna show him T'kay again, I really like the scales on his head and the space it gives me to show to bronze color he wants that character to have. Why don't people ever like the same miniatures as I do?

with hero forge, you really do have to go to the second quality, the first is like poorly detailed board game figures.

They are still a little fragile, I painted 3 for a friend, one arrived broken (and was replaced)  a second broke when it was thrown around in my car during a near collision but my friend has used them without breaking. and I had no trouble painting them.

the oathsworn one is nice, I have a lot of the sensible shoes line.

I'm from Germany.

Search for Battlefield Berlin.

I order from them a lot and they have a huge range of different companies minis.

Already bought like 20 miniatures from them. Great little shop, but they don't sell individual boardgame minis or resell stuff from blind packs, as far as I'm aware of.
